"FUCK!" James screamed to the world.
"WHY? WHY SAM?" He cried out for help.
Nobody came to help.
He expected Sam to dashing out of the forest, beanie on and all, and sprint over to him and hop in his arms.
He would cry out of joy and squeeze Sam.
He wanted Sam to tell him everything is okay.
He rode absentmindedly and found himself at the park Sam came out to him at.
He sat on the now-fading bench, not caring that he threw his bike in the dirt a few meters back.
He sobbed into his palms.
"Why? My first crush. My first kiss. My first love. Gone. Taken away from me.
"And it was— it is all my fucking fault."

James rode back home. It was dark out by now. He didn't care. He lost track of time. He didn't really care anymore.
Instead of riding straight home, he stopped at Sam's house.
He knocked on the door, now knowing that this was a horrible idea.
"Hello?" Sam's mom, Nevaeh, said groggily.
"Hi, Mrs. Freine. It's Jame-"
She cut him off.
"It's ten o'clock at night! What are you doing at my door?"
"It's Sam..."
