Help Me Remember

Part 3

The next morning everyone was downstairs eating breakfast and as always Sarah was the last one in the kitchen. She had her glasses on and her red hair a mess  Steve said "Rough night Sarah?"

"Yeah I guess I didn't sleep good." She said as she laid her head down on the counter

Steve sat her coffee down in front of her and said "Sarah coffee." 

"Oh sorry Steve." She took a sip 

"After breakfast there is a team meeting. So nobody leave to their rooms or training room go straight to the conference room." Steve said 

Natasha came over and whispered "Sarah what's wrong?"

"I just didn't sleep good. You know how I get sometimes." She said to her

She took her coffee cup and went to the conference room and laid her head down and fell asleep while everyone was eating. Steve came in and said "Sarah you didn't even eat." 

"Oh I'm not really hungry Steve." Sarah said 

"You had nightmares last night." Steve said to her

"Yeah." she said 

"You usually are screaming in your sleep when you have them. Not last night?" Steve said 

"I guess not since my room mate didn't wake me up." she said 

The meeting started a few minutes later Natasha pulled up a guy's photo and said "It seems we haven't seen the last of Hydra a head has reappeared. And he's throwing a lavish party this weekend and we are going to crash it. Wasp and Wanda I need you two on him being the annoying bug that won't go away and Wanda get in his head. Me and Steve will be the married couple at the bar Sam you are the bar tender. Barnes and Cooper you are the distraction."

Sarah raised her head and said "Excuse me?" 

"Ballroom dancing get's anyone's attention Sarah especially your ballroom dancing." Natasha said 

"I haven't ballroom danced in 5 years." Sarah said 

Bucky was about to correct her but Steve shook his head no to not say anything. Then Sarah looked at the guy on the screen. Her face went pale and said "I don't know how I know him but his face looks familiar Nat and I have a feeling I shouldn't be at that party Saturday." 

Natasha seen her face and said "Sarah?"

"Please just believe I'm not trying to get out of dancing I just feel like that I can't do this mission Nat please." Sarah said as she started to shake. 

"Sarah you need to try and remember how you know him so we can protect you." Nat said 

"I can't damn it Natasha I've tried for 4 fucking years to remember that year. Hell I have a man that says we were in love with each other and had great fucking sex and I can't remember any of it Nat so please just listen to me when I say I can't do this damn mission." Sarah yelled as she pushed her chair from the table and walked out. She got on the elevator and broke into tears and said "Take me to training FRIDAY."

She got down to the training room and started to punching a punching bag as tears fell. Bucky came downstairs and placed his hands over hers and said "Breathe doll." He turned her around gently and hugged her. "Shh it's ok." he whispered. 

"Bucky I can't remember and it's starting to affect my job." She whispered

"I know I don't know what to do or how to help." he said to her

Steve came by the door to look for Sarah but then he saw Bucky had her. Steve went upstairs to his office and pulled up shield archives and tried to search for anything that was Sarah's mission log with Pearce. There was nothing the last mission she went on for Shield was her mission with Natasha and Clint.
