A.N: Alright! I know people were asking about why Hana was only seeing characters in the cafe. Well, I didn't want to answer that right away because... well... because I already had this chapter written and it might help with explaination.
Hana doesn't only see characters in the cafe, but it was the main place to meet characters in the beginning. To be honest, I don't know why I used the cafe for a meeting place. It was the place that I started the story in and I didn't change the setting because I was comfortable writing for the cafe. (and I didn't really know where else to go!)
So... Sherlock Holmes is the first character that she meets outside of the cafe. What do you think?
A bit of background and perhaps a bit of semi-spoilers followed by a question for you to answer in the comments, okay?
I originally was going to base Sherlock on Arthur Conan Doyle's original novels, as you might have been able to tell by chapter 7. But then it kind of morphed into a... Sherlock-y character that... I really don't know where he belongs. Whether he is still Sir Conan Doyle's creation, whether he is the Sherlock played by Robert Downey Junior or Benedict Cumberbatch's Sherlock Holmes. Or, even, an imagination of Sherlock Holmes that is written purely from my imagination with little sprinkles of everyone in his character.
What do you think? Whose Sherlock is this based on? There are no wrong answers to this question. I'm really curious to see what people think. It might help me in the chapters that I'm writing at the moment, but I may also be a bit less true to the canon character in the coming chapters.
Please tell me your thoughts, and concerns in the comments. Also, please favourite and add to reading lists, etc. I really appreciate it. You don't even know how much I do. :)
