Here, Viren was about to return home but met Rishi, his college mate on the way.

"Are Viren, I heard you got married to Jeevika. You lucky lad, we always knew you too would get married. After all, she suffered so much for you back then."

Hearing this Viren got confused.

"What do you mean?"

"You don't know? Even though Sana seemingly had quite a good relationship with her, her minions would not leave a single chance to taunt your wife."

"What are you talking about?"

"Remember Jeevika had a project submission but instead chose to do a presentation? It was all their doing. They had torn her project on the day of submission. Since Jeevika had a good rapport with her teacher, she got a chance to do presentation instead. Such a smarty na! Inspite of such a difficult situation she still managed to be a topper."

Here Viren was shocked. He had no idea such a thing had happened. Why didn't Sana tell him about this? He wouldn't have blamed her for her friends' mistakes. Expecting Jeevika to share about this was in vain she would rather suffer alone than let him know.

"Is that all?"

"Nope dude, I remember once there had been some rumors going on about her that she was coming between you and Sana. That must have been quite a tough time for her. If not for her friend Maanvi...And I don't need to tell you who spread those rumors."

"But I have never heard anyone badmouthing her that time."

"Dude are you kidding me? Everyone knew she was precious to you. Do really think anyone would dare talk about her in your presence. Though the case was different once you turned your back. Didn't Sana tell you about this? After all somethings happened right before her. She even tried to defend Jeevika. So I thought you must have known about it."

Just then Rishi's phone rang.

"Achha, Viren I need to leave. See you soon."

They hugged and bid bye.

Viren was now sure, something was amiss. He still couldn't understand why Sana hadn't tild him this. He had to know the answers right at this moment. He left for Sana's home in urgency. As he reached near her home, he saw something that shocked him to the core. His dadi's car. What was she doing here in the middle of the night? Even if she wanted to console her, this wasn't the right time. He quietly went near the window and opened it a bit so he could hear what was going on.

"That bitch Jeevika! Every single time she came in between us. Everything was going according to our plan. Yet she was the one who got him in the end."

He was shocked to hear Sana talking that way.

"That girl. I understimated her."

So his dadi was also involved in this. He didn't know what to say.

"I should have known, that bitch was two faced. I actually believed her when she met me once behind Viren's back trying to convince me to tell his parents that I am his girlfriend. Who knew she was planning to stab me in the back!"

"It was a good thing that you told Viren about it. It helped our matter a lot. He misunderstood her help as interference. That misunderstanding is what helped us till now."

His grandma was the one behind all this? He couldn't believe it. He knew she only saw him as her heir being the only grandson but what was the need to control this matter.

"But do we do now? He married her. Now she is the owner of all his proprties. After all, your husband's will says that his wife would get everything."

So it was about the will. He understood now, Sana would get the property and transfer it back to his dadi. But he married Jeevika. So it foiled all their plans in one go.

"That Priya! She must have know about my husband's will. My husband must have informed her before he died. I still don't know what made him have a change of heart. Otherwise why would she plan all this is advance.?! But I know what to do. All you need to do is make Viren believe that Jeevika married him for his money. Don't involve his parents in this. He won't believe it. Of course for this he would come to me. He isn't interested in money nor are his parents. So he would surely give it back to me and with a heavy heart I will accept it."

"Wow dadi! What a plan. I must say, I never thought that when you told me to befriend him, you had planned for years ahead. 7 years of business with you has been advantageous to me."

"Hm. You made a smart decision back then and also did everything as I told you. So of course I would repay you. Here, next installment will be the final one after I get everything done on my name."

Sana took the money offered and began couning while his dadi took her leave, unaware that Viren had heard everything.

When Viren returned home, he saw the light in his bedroom was still on. Of course he understood, Jeevika was too worried about him to go to sleep. He had after all left home in anger without informing anyone. As soon as he entered the gate the lights were switched off. He chuckled.

'Oh Jeevi! As if you can fool me.'

When he entered the bedroom, he saw she had already slept.
He changed into tee and pants and slept beside her.

'I am sorry Jeevi. Seems like you have been the one wronged all along yet I made you the villain. I have been a bad friend, let alone a husband. But I promise, I will make it up to you. Everything will be alright, soon.'
