Ethíniel was awoken by three harsh knocks on the door making her jump from her comfortable bed and stomp her way to the door growling under her breath "I swear if it is another dwarf I will wringle his neck like a cloth and feed him to the wood wolves!" all dwarves shocked at her words took a step back in fear for their leader. The blonde unlocked the door and swung it open to reveal a slightly taller, black hair and bearded dwarf with piercing Sapphire like eyes that bore into her green ones with intensity, though neither could look away.
Neither happy with what it mean, the glint that they saw in the other's eyes, yet Ethíniel knew exactly who he was, Thorin son of Thraín, son of Thrór, the heir to the Kingdom Under the Mountain, it seemed that he had grown well into his dwarvish looks rather than the beardless one she had last seen him in. All of the dwarves and the hobbit were confused at why neither of them looked away, all but the wizard who simply smiled at the two, having know that this was bound to happen. "Gandalf. I thought you said this place would be easy to find. I lost my way, twice." the dwarf prince finally said making his way around the princess who then stared outside, her chest rising and falling to fast making the hobbit worry for her.
"I wouldn't have found it at all had it not been for that mark on the door." He finished as he took off his cloak and folded it, placing it on his arms as he turned around, smiling at all his friends before moving his eyes to the blonde figure who had her back to him, he saw how the dress complimented her figure and showed off her upper curves. "Mark? There's no mark on that door. It was painted a week ago by Niel." Bilbo stated with a confused look on his face, while Ethíniel finally turned around to face the company with a scowl evident on her face. "There is a mark. I put it there myself." the wizard said and in the next second he had his arm whacked "I put time and patience into painting that door and you just went on and ruin it! I should have set you on fire when I had the chance all those years ago!" she hissed at him angrily, everyone found shocking that Gandalf was actually scared of the petite woman.
"Bilbo Baggins and Niel Daisy allow me to introduce the leader of our company: Thorin Oakenshield." The wizard said after a moment of silence "So... this is the Hobbit." he started as he watched the woman take a protective stance towards the hobbit, "Tell me, Mr. Baggins, have you done much fighting?" the heir inquired as he started to circle him, "Pardon me?" Bilbo retorted confused, "Ax or sword? What's your weapon of choice?" The mighty dwarf asked again, "Well, I do have some skill at conkers, if you must know......but I fail to see why that's relevant." Bilbo said honestly making the king stop in front of him and say laughing "Thought as much. He looks more like a grocer than a burglar."
His words lead the rest of the men to break out in laughter but it instantly died down when they saw the blonde with Thorin's sword against his neck "Insult him one more time and it will be the last thing you'll say dwarf!" she growled, ignoring their proximity and his hot breath fanning her face as she stared at him defiantly, "Niel!" Bilbo cried out, not wanting blood in his home staining the walls, "And who do you think you are to challenge the king under the mountain?" Thorin growled at her as he forced his body to come closers to her, almost subconsciously their eyes met and the anger in them faltered for a second, "I am Bilbo's house maid and you are in our home so you will respect us." she told him angrily as she pressed the sword deeper into his neck while taking a step back slightly, "I am king, I answer to no one." he growled at her, "You'll listen to me if you wish to produce heirs!" she snarled back, her words having a double meaning to the three who knew of it.
She tapped his upper thigh with the dagger of her own making everyone look at this shocked, some gasping others gaping but Gandalf merely laughed as he stared at the two, "And that's how queens make their points..." he whispered to himself, "Very well Lady Niel Daisy, I see you have some skill as moving fast and using small weapons but what weapons do you wield?" Thorin said stepping back and pressing a hand slightly to his aching neck, "Niel isn't a fighter, she's a..." Bilbo started from behind the blonde who interrupted him "Any weapon you wish me to wield I shall, no training needed." she answered stoic, Bilbo gapped at her surprised, although he knew nothing of her past before she began to work for his family, he would never have though that she had any experience with weapons.
