Lowe was like the younger brother I never had. He was two years younger than I,but a complete book nerd. He still worked at the television studio as a weatherman, which eventually worked out great for him. As for me,I was almost happy swirling sugar in people's coffees. "Almost"

During our school years Lowe, and I looked strikingly alike. So,people always mistook us for siblings. Except he was smarter, and I was just above average. After high school,he got the job as a weatherman. It was expected, considering he passed with a distinction in Geography accompanied by another subject.

On the other hand,I had no idea on what I was doing. I figured I wanted to go off to college, but my mom was already so stressed about the mortgage in addition to paying off her student loans, that I decided not to bother her. I thought about taking a loan, but then backed off. I just wanted to afford college by myself without putting the burden on my mom. I told her,I wanted to work in a warm place with a cozy-feel. So,I became a barista!

Secretly? I made this inside joke in my head-
"Arinn Macadamia can't afford acadamia."
Laugh out loud if you will, but it fitted the rhyme perfectly!

Two years later, here I am,content and in peace with the way my life is.

In contrast, deep inside my mind and heart I wanted to go off to college.
