I feared dogs the most.Only after my mom made it to the top of the list.Ever since I was young I was scared of them. There wasn't anything particular they did to me,except for licking and smothering me with wet kisses. It was just that...I saw my neighbour's dog suddenly bite his ass thinking it was some kind of 'treat'.Truth be told, his ass was a 'treat' for the sore eyes of the elderly women in our neighbourhood. It was since then, that I feared the same would happen to my bounce house.....and it did hehe.

Karen went on with her apology until I had accepted it quickly in a way of escaping her,and her little doggo.

"Did you get R.A.B.B.E.D again Arinn?" Grace asked playfully with a huge grin plastered to her pale face. Her black hair complimented her pale complexion well,it also popped her almost black eyes into infinty. She loved black.I guess that's why her nerdy glasses, and even her outfits were black.

"I most certainly did not.I'm leaving, goodnight." I replied fast and headed out to the big streets.I sometimes wonder if I should've ever told her why I couldn't make to work that day.

I met Karen at a park a year ago.It was one of the largest parks in the city of Bluburgs, and it attracted many pet owners for its luscious greenery with complementary squirrels for every four-legged creature to bother.Marcus had fixated his eyes on me(more so my plump butt),and had decided it was 'his treat' for fetching a blue ball. After that? All was history.

I was taken to the hospital by some passerbys, and I had objected the room nurse from sending in Karen. After two more hours,I let her in. I didn't hear half of what she said because of the medicines which the doctor had registered to me.She knew that so she went away, probably with some kind of relief with the formality she 'tried' to deliver.

My mom was called in two more hours later. My mom was a sight for my exhausted eyes.Unlike her precious light brown locks complimenting her blue eyes I was the complete opposite. My hair was coloured dark blue, different to that of my eyes which were almost black; I had a blunt nose, and thin lips.Did I mention my peculiarly small ears?

"Darling,I am so sorry that had to happen to you of all people! I couldn't get out of work." she said with a deep sigh as if it were her fault.

"It's okay mom, don't worry.Just another bite in the ass for us." I tried to make the most out of this by cracking a joke. She laughed a little.

Work and stress had aged my mom.I could see the fine lines and wrinkles surrounding her kind eyes, her smile curving tiny wrinkles into an arc.

"Get some rest.Good thing tomorrow's Saturday.I love you my darling." said my mom as she kissed my forehead.

I drifted off into a deep sleep.

Now when I thought of this it was quite the adventure for us,the next day I was discharged, and we grabbed brunch and had a funny chat about the local weatherman messing up the weather for the entire community.

I laughed a little loudly as I remembered that day and the chat about the funny weatherman.

"You still find that funny eh?" he yelled out from the end of the sunny-yellow sidewalk.

"Why would I not? Did you even see him?" I said with roaring laughter.

"I did see him if you can recollect." he replied as I made my way to him.

"I was the guy. Badam-boo-ta-da."
