Jasmine had given Liam and I some porridge to eat because we hadn't eaten in hours. It was crap. It tasted like a cardboard box. I shouldn't complain, she could have killed me for my 'disrespectful' attitude if she wanted.

"I was told to escort you to your room, I'll help tomorrow. In the morning, you will be brought here again to meet Devin, once he is done I will get you both out of here." Jasmine whispers on the way to our room. I have a gut feeling not to trust her, but what other options do we have?

Forcing us through the door, Jasmine had said her goodbye and hustles the door shut. Liam stares back at me with a sparkle in his eye.

"We're getting out of here. I'm finally getting out of here." He mutters under his breath, as if he didn't believe it himself.

"Don't get your hopes up." I murmur, leading myself to the back of the room to sit down.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Liam snaps his head in my direction, giving me a bemused expression.
"I just don't believe it. If her family is being threatened why would she be helping us? She might be tricking us. We're two random people she's putting her family's life in danger for, it doesn't make sense." I shrug, dropping my weight to slide down the wall into a seated position.

"Don't get me wrong, I want to get out of here just as much as you. Let's just be cautious." Resting my head against the wall, I indicate the space next to me for Liam to sit. He gladly takes a seat on the floor.

"How's your hand?" He changes the subject, knowing my theory could be correct.
"Hurts like hell." I smile sarcastically while examining my tightly bandaged hand.

My body aches all over from my injuries caused by Devin. Throbbing from my hand causes waves of sickness to wash over me; cramps form in my back from when he slung me off of his shoulders onto the metal floor and my mind is being abducted by migraines and headaches.

Resting my sore physique on Liam's shoulder, I attempt to put myself at ease. He reacts to my gesture by setting his head on top of mine. falling into unconsciousness, we loose ourselves in sleep.

A different doctor had been ordered to take us back to the room where we needed to meet Devin. Shoving us down to the chairs and then leaves us in the room.

"August, please don't piss him off. Who knows what he'll do next." Liam studied my expression, looking for a sign of agreement.
"No promises, he pisses me off just as much." I keep my eyes stuck to the door, awaiting Devin's arrival.

The door slams open, the devil coming into sight. "Stand up." He instructs, strolling in front of us. Grabbing ahold of my wrist gently, Liam guides us to stand in sync.

Devin pulls me out of his grip while gazing into my sage eyes.
"Give me a kiss." He demands with a stern tone.
"Are you serious? No." I grimace, successfully shaking his hands away.
"If you can't follow a simple rule, how are you ever going to survive here?" He asks rhetorically, strolling towards Liam.

Punching him in the face, I stumble back while clasping onto my jaw. A yelp of pain surfaces as aching takes over. He's crazy.

"Give me a kiss, August. On the cheek?" He pleads with a grin, clearly entertained by my torment.

"You're sick." I mutter, my pride to high to give in to his request.
He thrusts his fist into Liam's torso causing me to jolt to the side. A ocean of agony drowns me as the pain seeps through my skin.

"Awh, come on. It's not that hard." He laughs humourlessly, taking more steps towards me.
"August please just do it, you're to weak for this." Liam peaks from behind Devin in front of me, concern floods his face.

Groaning in discomfort, I get on my tip toes to reach Devin's cheek and give it a quick kiss that was filled with hatred for the sick bastard. Then, hobbling back to the chairs, I rest my aching body.

"One step at a time, if that is what it takes." He grins, locking the door as he leaves.

"That was the stupidest thing I've ever done." I hiss, the thought reacquiring in my head. Liam saunters towards me with bandages.
"We should probably change them." He indicates my current bloody bandaged hand, causing me to grimace at the thought.

"I'm sorry you had to go through with that." Liam murmurs while re-cleaning my gash, gazing back at me.
"Which part are you talking about? The kiss or punching? Because I hated both." I reply sarcastically, allowing a few winces to leave my lips from the sting.

Liam looks away and frowns. "Don't worry, ok? We are getting out of here tonight." He mumbles, loud enough for me to hear.

A wave of light headedness washes over my body. I feel like I could pass out at any given moment.

As if she could feel my pain agony, Jasmine pushes open the door, staying behind the door frame.

"Let's go."
