Scarlett's POV

I drew a snowflake falling, from the most highest point in the sky. I really miss Ever After. When I finished the drawing I taped it up on my wall. I laid down on my bed staring at the ceiling.

There had to be away back to Ever After, HAD TO. Must be a portal or something. I had a sudden craving for thirst. So I walked to the kitchen which I saw when I walked in.

My mom walked out in a dark blue pan suit, her hair in a strict tight bun, a aqua colored blue tooth in her ear, and navy blue velvet heels.

"Please hold... Scarlett, I didn't here you walk in!" She said like I was gone for a thousand years.

"Hi, Mom.." I said being strangled by a large hug.

"So? How was school? I mean Homecoming is right around the corner so I'm sure you had to prepare."

"Good. Fine actually..." I said with a strange anxiety in my voice. I knew she meant Thronecoming instead of Homecoming.

"You don't sound very well, are you okay?"

"Yes, I'm fine.... does something feel different to you?"

"Well the house is a little cold.... but that's it."

WHAT? My mom said the house was cold. She NEVER gets cold. And I mean NEVER. This definitely wasn't Ever After. I needed to call Raven. "Maybe you should go to bed... Just incase."

"Okay..." I said slowly walking to my room, walking straight into the wall. I think I sprained my ankle. "Ow." I said limping into my room.

I grabbed my phone and called Raven. After 3 rings she answered. "Scarlett! Guess what?" Raven shouted.

"What?"

"My mom isn't in the mirror prison!"

"Well I kinda thought that because there's no mirror prison in this world."

"Okay... that makes sense, so why'd you call me?"

"Because even if this wasn't Ever After my mom would still like the cold, and she HATES the cold here. She said the house was cold and it's barely 80 degrees!"

"That's weird..."

"I know! And I think I just sprained my ankle..."

"Is it okay?"

"Yeah... hey can me, you, and Maddie have a sleepover today?"

"Ooo! That would be hexellent! I'm going to call Maddie right now!"

"Okay... bye?"

"Bye!" Raven said very preppy... maybe not having a destiny pepped her up. I'm going to call Apple. I dialed Apple's number but I only got the answering machine.

"Hey it's Ava or Apple White... Not really sure anymore. I'm busy right now... leave a message, bye."

That WAS NOT the Apple White I know. Okay Raven's happy without a destiny, Apple was probably broke down in tears not being the next Snow White.

After I hung up on Apple, Raven called again. But instead of 'I Knew You Were Evil' by Tailor Quick, it was a song called 'I Knew You Were Trouble' by Taylor Swift.

"Scarlett! Maddie said yes! Meet you at my house in a half hour!"

"K Raven, what's yo-"

"Bye!" Raven said hanging up before I could finish my sentence "ur ad-dress..."

I went and packed my bag I through a pair of navy blue pajama shorts and a light blue top. I grabbed a white polo shirt a blue and white striped jacket with a pair of jeans and threw it in.

I grabbed a bandaged from the bathroom and tied it around my ankle. But I had to walk all the way to the freezer to get an ice pack! That was so far, I miss just creating one with the palm of my hand.

I walked out the door and looked to see if there were any evil looking houses. None that looked evil but there was a house that was purple and black and Maddie was standing in front of it so that had to be it.

"Maddie!" I screamed.

"Oh, hi Scarlett." She said when I reached the door. Raven opened the door right away

"Hi Scarlett! Hi Maddie!" She said hugging both of us pulling us inside.

Raven's mom was standing in the middle of the kitchen. With another woman with her. "Scarlett! Maddie! I haven't seen you in forever!" The Evil Queen said.

"Raven, name?" I asked because there was no way her first name was 'Evil'.

"Eve Queen." She said.

"Hi Mrs. Queen!" Maddie went out and said.

"Maddie, you know you can call me Eve." She said.

"What ya making?" Maddie said walking over to the counter.

"A cake for Ava White's birthday."

"Oh, how nice!" Maddie said.

"Scarlett! Come here!" Raven yelled from across the hall. "Coming!" I shouted back.

Maddie and I walked to wear Raven was. It was a room that was filled with tiaras and such, girly things that weren't Raven.

"Raven... why do you have all of this in here?" I asked.

"I don't know, but it points away from being evil!"

"True, but wouldn't you think Apple would have all of this?"

"Well yeah, but it's a thing that points away from evil."

"But Raven, denying your destiny as the Evil Queen is who you are! Without it, your turning into Apple..." I said. Raven couldn't even fight that statement.

"Fine... maybe your right..." She said.

"Okay, can I speak now?" Maddie said. Raven and I nodded. "Have either of you heard Apple's voice mail?" She said in her high-pitched voice.

"I have." I said.

"Then that means we definitely have to get back to Ever After! But how?"

"There's definitely no magic in this world..."

"Oh! We can go to my Dad's Tea Shoppe!" Maddie said grabbing my hand and running out the door.
