I hurried back to my dorm. Why would Austin do that to me? I didn't feel safe anywhere. That's it. I'll ask Cupid.
I quickly dialed Cupid on my Mirrorphone.

"Cupid? I need hel-"

"Oh, I know Scarlett." Cupid said surprising me.

"What? How?"

"My mirror that tells me about love emergencies."

"Oh that, can you help me then?"

"I should probably come to you because of the Blondie thing."

"Yeah, meet you in 5." I said hanging up. What am I going to do?

Cupid gave me some fairy good advice. Talk to him. Which I wasn't going to do. Go Cupid!

I just remembered something. I have to do my Muse-ic homework, which is due in 2 days. "Okay... I need a song." I said to myself.

I went through my music 3 times. I skipped over a good song 3 times.

"Christi Fairy... Thousand Years. How could I miss that?" I said as Ella walked in.

"You never told me class would be this hard!" She said throwing her stuff on the floor.

"You never asked," I said." Besides, I have bigger problems than thronework right now." I said laying down on my bed. "Austin doesn't trust me."

"What? Austin doesn't trust you? I mean, if he saw how much you and Nick get along, I kinda get it. But I thought relationships are based on trust." Ella said sitting next to me.
"I have to get started on my thronework." She said quickly switching back to her side of the room.

"I'm going to go find Raven." I said leaving the room.

I already knew the right lyrics to Thousand Years, so I basically had no homework, except for Spells, Hexes, and General Witchery. That's what I needed Raven for, I couldn't do spells, or hexes, or witchery. I don't know why they just didn't put me in Magicology instead.

Right when I knocked on Raven's dorm room, I remembered there was no thronework. But Apple answered. "Oo! Scarlett come here!" She said screaming pulling me inside.

"Yes Apple?" I said sitting down at her desk. "Tomorrow we're going on the field trip to the North Wind!" Apple shouted.

"Right, and I already knew this." I said starting to see no point in this conversation.

"Tell this too no one. Headmaster Grimm put a play together for the feild trip. Briar was the lead, but she doesn't know her lines because she keeps falling asleep. So can you play Aquilona?"

"Apple, you really think I can remember all those lines in one day? I can barely remember what I had for lunch yesterday."

"Fine. I'll ask Lizzie." Apple finally said exiting the room.

"Uh, okay bye?" I said still sitting at Apple's desk. I'll just let myself out then. I walked down the hall hearing foot steps from the floor above me.
I heard a strange noise behind me. I ignored it. Probably a lose animal. I headed back towards my dorm. Raven came running bye chasing... Maddie?

"Raven! Maddie!" I shouted above the madness above.

"Oh, hi Scarlett." Maddie said hopping around in circles, then leaving around the corner, Raven still following.

"Uh... better not questioned." I spoke to myself walking away.

I slowly limped to Muse-ic, carrying all of my notes from previous classes. I dropped all my stuff on my desk, and finally sat down with a breathe of thanks.

"Ready Class? It's time! Scarlett, you first." Pied Piper said. Did the universe hate me? I got up and walked over to the piano in the corner of the room. Not paying attention that I was leaving a ice trail behind me.

As I sat down I took a deep breath in, my fingers slowly made there way to the keys. A final cold breath left my mouth.

My fingers traced over the last few notes. When I finally opened my eyes, the entire piano was frozen.

I looked up at the entire classroom, shocked. Frozen faces, eyes locked on me. I can control them. The harder I tried to keep them in check, the ice grew bigger and stronger. I quickly ran out of the classroom.

I hind in a section next to the door. I was expecting for Cam to come and find me. She never came. Instead she sang her song. Dig Down Deeper, ugh, I hated that song.

"Nick, your next." I over heard Piper say. I put my ear to to the door, maybe this will cheer me up.

A guitar started playing in the background.

One thing rang through my mind. That was about me. Nick always called me his Moonbeam, always said we had a game show love connection, and I gave his life a real direction. Plus I strangely always wore a bright red lipstick to school, it would always stain everything. He said it stuck to his brain. The ice felt like it melted a little.
