36 • Prepare

[Park Jihoon's POV]

I return home after Laun and Mark treat me into a great dinner with Haneul.

"So why are you behaving like that?" Mark suddenly asks out of no where.

"Ummm.." Jihoon looks at me and then at Laun. The three of us laugh and Mark had a blank expression.

"What?" Mark asks with a questioning face.

"It's just.. I didn't eat the night before and this morning," Jihoon answers with a chuckle. He winks at me and I laugh.

I return home and greet Mr. Kim in the living room.

"Why did you return home so late?" He asks as I was about to go upstairs.

"Oh.. just want you to know that.. Haneul already knew," I say while flashing him a smile.

"Know? Know what?" He asks in confusion.

"You know about what," I say while smiling cheekily. "About that," I point to the family picture behind the television with my head. He nods and give me a fatherly-smile.

~ A Week Had Passed By ~

Tomorrow would be the day which the camp will be held. It would be a four-day-and-three-night camp so I have to bring quite a lot of things.

"Jihoon, would you like me to help you with packaging your things?" Mr. Kim enters my room and sees the luggage that contain nearly half of things in it.

"I would love to but no thanks," I laugh and lie down on my bed. I sigh heavily. "I don't know what to bring," I take a pillow and put it on my face.

"Bring the daily things you use," He says and I look at him.

"I need toilet and my bed," I say and roll my eyes. "Should I fold and bring them too?" I ask with a chuckle and he laughs loudly.

"Toiletries.. you need to bring enough clothes too. In addition, you can bring some padded jacket and hoodies since winter is not over yet. Well, you should at least prepare 2 extra clothes in case you're going into some kind of water sport," He says and I nod. I open my closet and take two pieces of hoodie and a few comfortable and warm shirt to wear.

"Is this enough?" I ask and he nods.

"What about trousers? Bring some comfy pants and heated leggings. For the night, you can bring just two pants because you can use it again on the other night," He says and help me fold the clothes I've thrown onto the bed. I take out a few comfortable pants, some track bottom and heated leggings.

"Thanks for helping me tonight. Please take care of this house well since tomorrow." I bow to him before I go to sleep.

Me: I'll be driving you to school tomorrow. You don't want to bring those luggage into the bus right?

Haneul ❣️: Okay, I'll be waiting since Mino is not here today.

Me: Did you missed him? ㅋㅋㅋ

Haneul ❣️: Ummmm... a bit?

Me: You should be missing me instead 😉

Haneul ❣️: Hmmmm...... maybe? 🤪🙄

Me: Yaa! Don't play with my heart! 💔

Haneul ❣️: Just go to sleep and here's your new heart ❤️😂

Me: Goodnight bae <3

I put down my phone and snuggle into my blanket. I fall asleep and when I wake up, it's already the next morning.

I bath myself and wear my school uniform. I take a canned biscuit and open it. I shove a few pieces of small biscuits into my mouth. I go upstairs to get my luggage and some other bags. I put it beside my front door and head out to greet Mr. Kim.

"Good morning, Jihoon. Your car is ready, where is your luggage?" He asks and point to the bags beside the door.

"Let me help you carry it," He says as I bring my luggage to the boot of the car with him carrying my small bags.

"I hope you have a great day with your friends," He says and smile as he finishes with my bags.

"Thank you. Do you want me to bring you anything?" I ask before getting in the driver seat.

"It's not that you're going on a vacation. So, I think you don't have to bring me anything," He says and I nod.

"Send my regards to Haneul," He shout as I open the window to wave at him. I start the engine and drive off to Haneul's place.
