41 • Someone's Touch

[Song Haneul's POV]

After we eat dinner, all of us are ordered to return to our tent and have a sleep. I take Jihoon's plate and wash it for them. I walk back to him and he is looking at the stars.

"The stars here are very bright," He says and I nod.

"And very beautiful too," I add and he smiles.

"But you're much more beautiful.. and bright. You always brighten my heart and it feels warm," He says and I slightly blush at his comment.

"Can I hold your hand?" He suddenly asks and I put my hand on top of his. "So warm," He says and press my hand in between his.

"L-let's just go to sleep," I say and pull my hand away from him. I can see that he is a little sad about that but I just help him get up and get into his tent. I go to my tent and lay in my bed. I'm sorry but it's not gonna work here.

~ The Next Day ~

I wake up a little bit early than others. I head out to take shower and I see Jihoon is sitting by the tree, washing his wound. I take my bucket of toiletries and head to the toilet. I change into a comfortable t-shirt and a pair of joggers.

I can still see that Jihoon is sitting by the tree looking at his wound. I walk up to him and greet him. "Good morning," I smile brightly at him and he smiles back. "You're awake early. Doesn't it hurt anymore?" I ask while pointing to the wound on his knee.

"I changed the bandage but I think the pain is bearable now. I could actually walk straight without anyone's help," He says while smiling proudly. I ruffle his hair and he laughs.

"That's great. That means you can join today's activity well?" I say and he nods. "I'll wake up my members and be right back," I say and walk back to my tent.

I wake my members up and of course they all wake up, except for Seulgi. I head to the breakfast section and Daniel is spreading some margarines on his white bread.

"Good morning," I say and he looks at me with no expression.

"Today's activity is flying fox. After that, you guys will have lunch made by yourself," He stresses out the word 'yourself'. "After lunch, we will continue with some water sport," He says strictly while munching on his bread and gets up from his seat. Okay.. so he doesn't like me right? Looks like it..

I take a piece of bread and spread some peanut butter on it. I made a few extra pieces for Jihoon and some of my friends. Suddenly I turn around and there are only two pieces of bread left. I look at the person who took it and it happens to be Junsang.

"Yaa! Kim Junsang! That's not for you!" I hit his head and he turn away from me. "Yaa!" I grab the bread and throw it to the ground. "No one touches Jihoon's food," I say and glare at him.

"Chill, it's just a bread. You could make some more," He says and continue to dry his hair with a towel around his neck.

"Now, please gather here!" Daniel says and we all hurriedly gather in front of him in our own groups. "So we will start the flying fox first for today. I want you to know how to wear the safety equipment properly. The first group will listen to it carefully and attentively to the facilitator. For the next team, we will not help you in any state. We will only check whether the last person had worn you the right way. So you better look at everything that the facilitator do while locking and tightening the safety equipment." Daniel says and we all listen to him.

"We will start by warming up and some aerobics," Haejin saem says and turn on some music. We start our warm ups and soon after, we were brought to where the flying fox activity would take place. Being the second group, I wait for the first group to finish and after that, they take off the safety equipments from their bodies. I don't know why but although all groups have 6 members, the one who needs to wear it for me is Lee Taeyong.

I can barely see his face as he was tightening the safety equipments for me. But when I does, I can see that he is blushing hard. "That should be fine," He says and leave me to Daniel. Daniel pulls a few cloth straps to make sure it is really tight and asks me to go upstairs. I walk up the stairs and another facilitator attach me to a metal loop and with a count of 3, he lets me go.

I shout my heart out as I find that the experience was so fun but yet so short. I walk back to the gathering place and take off my equipment.

[Park Jihoon's POV]

Why must Taeyong put on the equipment for her? Like there's a balanced member of 3 girls and 3 boys in a group but why must he wear them on her?!

I walk up after Haneul's group members finish their activity. I look at her expecting that she would wear them for me but Haechan comes to me and wear them for me. Haneul walks to Cheng Xiao.

After we finish the activity, we go back to our camp site to make our own lunch.

~ Time Passes By ~

"Yaa, move over," I pat Jaemin's shoulder and he scoots over to give me some spaces to sit next to Haneul. I sit next to her and put my tray on the table. She looks by her side and continue to eat.

"I was jealous," I whisper to her and eat my food.

"What? About what?" She asks slightly chuckling at me.

"That's not funny."

"Then what? Why must you feel jealous?" She asks, finally getting serious.

"Haneul-ah, I'm going to put the tray first," Hyunji cuts me and Haneul nods to her.

"Taeyong touched you," I say and she laughs.

"Yaa what are you so happy about?" Junsang says and Haneul sticks her tongue out at him.

"Oh, is this all about the safety just now?" She asks and I nod.

"Don't be a child. I love you and just you," She says and I can feel that my heart just stop beating. She was about to walk away but I pull her hand to make her sit again.

"Y-you.. love me?" I ask and she blushes hard.

"Umm I mean? Not in a bad way.." She says and I let go of her hand.

At least now I know that you love me. I smirk and continue to finish my lunch.
