Before life's left
If my life ended tomorrow
What would you do?
Would you pretend I'm still there,
Or be sad and blue.
Will you go far away to the highest mountain and scream "why?"
Or will you hide in the deepest place and simply cry.
Would you say sorry for all the heartbreak,
That to my heart you have caused,
Or sing me words of love as you caress me with your touch.
The thing about death
Is we are never certain when
Our time has finally come to an end.
