Damage
I guess it takes time
To realize,
That life is very short.
That there are people that love you the most,
That there is strength in your heart,
That there are stories behind those scars,
That there is purpose behind those tears,
That there is people that still worry,
That there is someone in a hurry,
To try to save you from the start,
To try to fix your broken parts,
To try to hold you for as long,
To try to show you all their love,
To try to stop you from the damage,
When your mind decides you can no longer manage,
your life.
