8:42 pmBitter Taste
It begun so easy, so loving, so funny,
Some kisses and hugging
As you fed me words sweet as honey.
Which lightened my eyes as I started believing,
That once you light a match, the fire will always remain.
As the love that once was there, will never go away.So I drank your "beautiful"'s and your charms.
I emerged into a lyrical song, with all your sweet goodnights.
I would laugh so hard, reliving the moments in your arms,
And remembered every single "I love you", as they took me on flights,
To reason that I wanted to stay.
I wasn't letting this feeling go away.I held on strong, since it was all love and joy.
Till things changed and the normal didn't know,
How to say "I love you" every single day,
Or how to say goodnight without being cold as snow.Eventually the honey turned raw.
Too much for my heart to take.
As it made me realize how now,
I'm left with a bitter, bitter taste.
