Chaper 25: Gunshots

Tony's P.O.V

It has been 5 days since Andy's house has been invaded and since it's been sprayed with pepper spray

I always go there everyday to make sure it's ok to go back there without dying

I leave the door open while she goes to school and I just sit in her backyard and sometimes I'd swim and wait for her

Someone rang the door bell so I yelled "back!"

Then they continued to ring the doorbell so I went to the front and turned the corner

I gasped then slowly tried backing away but they saw me and ran after me

I started running but I felt a sting in my leg making me scream and fall

They all circled me and I held my leg then looked at my hand seeing blood

One guy was holding a gun and he pointed it to my head

"No, not yet" one guy said to the one holding a gun to my head

"Let's have a little fun before you splatter his brains out"

They all chuckled and started kicking and punching me

Finally after 15 painful minutes they stopped and I already felt a huge bruise forming on my cheek and my ribs

The guy who shot my leg pointed the gun back to my head,

I laid back and closed my eyes already accepting my fate

"This is for making me and my friends almost blind" then he shot my arm making me scream and roll over

I heard police sirens and they all yelled profanity's and ran away leaving me there actually thankful

A cop came running to me and started yelling and holding up fingers but everything was audible

My breathing was heavy and my eyes started feeling heavier

I tried keeping my eyes open but I let the darkness take over.
