Part 2
"Errrr!! Guys we overslept again!"
"You overslept again!" Says LX. You could say he is irritable in the mornings.
"Common, we have to get ready! Mom is going to kill me and then come looking for all 3 of you if I'm late to school again! "
"Bring me back some pizza, will ya?" Cole mumbled in a snotty tone. Ugh, it was going to be useless.
"Whatever guys, if you want to skip, that's fine, but I'm leaving, and I'm taking my lips with me." That's just to lure them.
In a synchronized way I think they all begin to get up, but rather they all turn so their backs are facing me.
Well crap, that didn't work!
So okay well, I start my day off sneaking into my room trying to remember which order to put my clothes on. Bra first and then shirt I think as I take off yesterdays raw clothes. And then underwear, if any, followed by a pair of jeans.
I take my contacts out of my eyes because I feel guilty for wearing them all night, and just decide to go with glasses today. Oh yes. It's going to be a pretty laid back day.
With that I squeeze into a pair of shoes, grab the homework I pretty much refused to do, and take my bike out back so I can get to school faster.
From there, long story short; as I take the turn where school has finally become visible, one rotten car passes by. Did I mention I was on a dirt road? Water and mud splatters across my whole right side. Well, there's two things I know now. That it rained last night. And that karma's a bitch.
I can't possibly turn back, moms OCD has probably kicked in, so shes scrubbing away at my room already. Alright, so maybe I can casually go to the bathroom and clean myself up. The plan sounds full proof enough since that's the only one I have.
~Yet I still can't come to open the door once I am standing at the entrance of my high school building. Those things should be locked, right? Oh crap, a teacher! I suddenly turn so I'm out of sight. That was only too close. I think.
Maybe I should leave... I challenge. As my hand decided weather to pull or let go of the door. Yea, and then enter my own personal hell when the principal calls home. No way. Not worth the yelling, criticism, and grounding. Screw it, I say, pulling on the door.
I step in silently, feeling like a spy myself. "Mrs. Keesh," calls a voice just then. Damn, I can cross spy off of my list of potential jobs.
"Mrs. Flays?" I scrounge and then turn with a smile that's as fake as her nose.
"Annie Keesh." She says staring. "You know, I would expect a high achieving student such as yourself wouldn't be trying to cause trouble in my halls." There was such a possessive tone to the words my halls.
"No trouble intended Mrs. Flays," I continue to smile getting bored.
"I don't like the way you're eyes are wandering young lady, are you high?" She looks at my clothes. "Did you loose your balance on your way to school? You need to come to my office immediately, before the other children see you like this."
"Mrs. Flays, I'm not high!!!"
"Your in denial." She smiled.
Wow. Wow. Wow! "Mrs. Flays are my eyes bloodshot? Am I mumbling?"
"Do you need to talk, she says, is something going on at home that may be affecting you?"
Was I being punk'd? Then again I'm not famous... "Ma'am," I thought quickly. "We really should talk, we really should but I have to go to the bathroom, you know because I'm a girl." I tried making it obvious.
"Oh. Oh. Got it." She winked. "But how about you come and change your clothes. I'm sure we can find something suitable for you in there. You can use my bathroom, big variety of tampons there."
"Why?" I ask about the clothes situation, trying to ignore the last bit, as I begin to remember all the mud that splashed up my side on my way here.
"Oh, that's right"
"Common girl," she smiled, "You and I can talk. Woman to woman."
Ugh. This was going to get interesting.
I ran my fingers through my thick blond hair. It's what I always do when I am nervous.
"You know Annie, you have a very distinctive look. With your silver eyes and hair that I like to compare to a lion's mane." She shuddered. "So so very thick... And your moles map out the beauty of your face. Clear, acne free face. "
"Alright I get it Mrs. Flays, can you get to the point before I get too uncomfortable." I say with the oddest look.
"Here choose from here." She handed me the lost and found box.
I stand there waiting for her to get out what she's trying to say.
"Okay," she sighs "The thing is I'm concerned. Last night, I was going to bed when my son, you know Tyler, accidently sent me a text."
"Yea I know Tyler," I say. He had a 'reputation' "Must have been a bad message to have you so concerned."
"Yes... and I was quite shocked to know he was interested in sex already."
My ears were screaming. Did the principal say sex? "Umm... what does this have to do with me?"
"This text, Tyler sent had a quite revealing picture of you, and he wrote 'I'm going to bang her' just exactly like that. She showed me the text on her phone.
I stared wide eyed at the picture. It almost looked like someone got a quick picture of me while I was out tanning in my bikini.
"This isn't awkward at all..." I say. "Maybe I should change my clothes now." I say grabbing the top two clothes off the lost and found pile.
"You're involved with Tyler aren't you?" She grabbed my arm.
"No, I swear that he's the last guy I would ever go out with!"
"Good you slut!" she screamed before she covered her mouth. I knew what she was thinking: That was completely unladylike.
"SLUT?!" was this chick for real? "Your son is the player! I swear to you I'm a virgin, Mrs. Flays. Which in Tyler's case isn't true." I walked out of the stall, wearing a clean red shirt and black sweats.
I could tell Mrs. Flays was disgusted. She stared hard into my eyes and I stared back without a single blink. She had to believe I wasn't lying.
"Just get to class before you say something to really get yourself in trouble." She pointed toward the exit.
"Virgin" I repeated as I walked out of the bathroom, and through her office.
"Get to class young lady!" She cried as she closed and locked the door behind me.
"Ah crap!" I had left my glasses in the bathroom.
Alright... I'm going home now.
