Part 11
"Oh, my god. Did someone attack my head with a bat last night?" I muttered as I sat up.
"No," Lucy replied, "But fainting might have had something to do with it. Or the alcohol..."
"What are you talking about?" I asked, covering my eyes because light from outside of my window was burning them alive.
"You have a tendency to feel this way after drinking the night before."
"But I didn't drink!" I responded shuddering at the sound of my own voice. "I only drank whatever you gave me."
"I know," Lucy cried, "I was only trying to get you tipsy, but then you went and drank my cup of vodka mixed with mountain dew too."
"Vodka?!" I cried
"It was mixed with mountain dew!" She repeated.
"Why would you do something like that?" I cried, sitting up suddenly to give Lucy an disgusted look. Owe! My head felt so heavy. "What kind of sister are you?"
"The getting drunk part-you did that on your own". She responded, focusing on some news paper. I didn't think she cared about current events.
Suddenly everything came back to me and my eyes widened.
"Is mom and dad completely freaked?"
"Yea, well that was to be expected..."
I cringed at the thought of me ever being a boy. I mean, I loved everything about being a girl so much. This couldn't be real? Could it?
I looked up at Lucy as she was still reading the news paper, but there was something wrong. She was frowning and scatting her head... Just all together distraught.
"What are you making those faces for?" I finally said.
"We have a little problem... "She responded.
"We sure as well do! I cried, how could you keep such vital information from me? What's next? Am I going to die from some rare disease that only you know about?!"
"No..." she said, "But you might die of humiliation" Lucy turned the news paper so I could see it.
"Whh...." I started losing my breath. The whole front page of the newspaper was covered with pictures of me... And... And... LX!
"FANTASTIC!" I cried, this is just great! I can't get a break!
"Stop looking at everything as being so bad, silly. Just think... everyone will know you! It will be like you are famous!" Lucy cried, "I think we should just go."
"I'm not going to school!" I cried.
"We have to go to school sis..."
"Will you stop calling me that!" I burst out.
"Would you really rather prefer bro?"
"Noo!!! I don't know what I want!" I cried.
"It's going to be worse if you don't go, Lucy said, because then you are going to let everyone know that you aren't strong, and that this really bothers you. Are you going to give all those people at school the permission to make fun of you?"
"Lucy... Do I even care?!" I said laughing to myself.
"Well you should!!" My sister huffed, "If you didn't go! Well then you are not the person I thought you were."
"Well! Who's the drama queen now?" I asked as I began to get up.
"You still are Ms. Drama queen!" Lucy said giving me a hug. "And Ms. Stinky too... Jeez! You need to take a shower. And I gotta get you some new clothes..." Lucy said plugging her nose.
