I was having a mental breakdown from how excited I was. I looked in the car mirror looking at the 2 girls me and Herbo had adopted minutes ago. We'd been wanting kids maybe not this soon but I wasn't gon' let these kids rot in there.
"Stop shakin' yo damn leg Ari, you making the whole car shake" I heard Herbert (Herbo) say and I rolled my eyes
"Bitc—" I started to argue back with him but I went against it, I didn't want to argue in front of our new kids, they'd probably think we was crazy. But that's really all we do, but it's really out of love.
"Sooo... Where we goin' ?" I heard the little one say .. I believe her name is Destini
"Well Destini ?" I questioned and she nodded her head letting me know that was correct so I continued my sentence "We're going to Herbert's momma house" I said turning around and smiling at them making them smile back.
Minutes had passed and we FINALLY pulled up to Mama Herbo's house
I hopped out the car and opened Destini's door and she held my hand running to the front door "Can I knock on it ?" She asked and I nodded
"baby I have a -" I heard Herbert say but I cut him off
"Go ahead Dess" I said and she knocked on the door.
"You know I have a key baby" Herbert said in my ear and I laughed slightly.
"Yeah , but she really wanted to knock on the door" I whispered back. We waited for someone to come to the door and I couldn't help but look over at Abygail, she look drained . Maybe we'll only stay here for a little bit.
"You okay sweetie" I said referring to Aby and she nodded her head then looked down. I frowned and looked at Dess to see if she knew what was going on and she quickly turned her head. Maybe it's nothing. The door finally swung open and there stood Mama with a huge smile on her face.
"Hey babies" She said hugging All of us as we walked into the house. I LOVE Mama herbo , she just makes me so happy. I don't really get to see my family because they don't stay down here so i like to think that Mama Herbo is my Mama and she treats me just like her daughter.
"How you been mama ?" I asked while sitting on the couch and she smiles at me.
"I been good baby, I wish y'all would come over more often though" She said back sitting on the other seat. I looked over at Herbo and he rolled his eyes while changing the subject.
"Momma This is Destini and Abygail, we adopted them today"
"Well hello, I'm Herbo momma you can call me Gma"
"Hey Gma" Dess said and we all laughed
We all sat in the living room talking and playing board games until the clock rolled on 10:47 and the kids started to yawn. So we said our goodbyes and rode to the house. When we pulled up both of the girls were sleep so I woke Aby up and got her bags for her guiding her to the door as Herbo picked up Dess and grabbed her bags taking them to their room. As I was walking out of Dess room I heard her call after me.
