"So are you coming or what ?" Zay asked me referring to the fair that was finally open.
"Yeah my dad said I could go. I'm on the way now" I said before saying my goodbyes and hanging up.
Since I was already dressed I walked downstairs to the kitchen to get a bag of chips then headed out the door.
"Where you going ?" I heard Ari say and I turned around facing her.
"Zay wanted me to hang out with her and some friends at the fair" I said and I saw her face change from a smile to a frown.
"Aby's going with you" Ari said and I groaned not even bothering to argue.
Aby walked passed us but ari stopped her "Get dressed and go with Dess to this little fair" She said and Aby rolled her eyes walking upstairs.
After she got dressed we made our way to the car and made our way to the address that Zay gave me which we probably didn't need because we could see the fair from fucking asia. We finally found a legal parking space and hopped out. As we were getting our tickets one of the rides that was being operated started to make a weird noise making me and Aby look at each other.
"Hell nah" We both said and our bodyguard, Luke, laughed.
"Yeah that's why I only come for the food" He said. "I don't trust no rides that they just pack up and move. Fuck no" He added in a more serious tone installing doubt in my mind. I honestly never thought of it like that but it's true they really be packing these shit up.
"DESS !!" I heard a familiar voice say. I tried to look around but my blind ass couldn't see cause I was tryna be cute and not wear my glasses nor contacts cause I was too lazy to put them in. Luckily they were walking over here.
"Hey Dess, Hey Aby, Hello Mr.Bodyguard." Zay said when she finally approached us and we exchanged heys. I looked behind her and saw a couple of people , I'm guessing the friends she was talking about on the phone.
"Bitch you can't be running like that . You know I got asthma" One of the girls behind her said. "And introduce us rude"
"Fine, If I have too" Zay said making the girl flick her in the head.
"Fuck you. My name is Jamirah and this my brother Jamir" The girl said pointing to her brother. When we all got done introducing ourselves we headed to some ride that Jamir wanted to go on. After what Luke said I was hella nervous.
