Jin's POV

My members and I peacefully sat devouring our food, I made sure that not a grain of rice was spilled onto the marble tabletop, I worked hard to clean it earlier, and I was not going to have it ruined by baby Kookie who can't keep his food in his plate!

On my left, was Jungkook, who I stare at while I eat my own food, eyeing him like a hawk, he better not make a mess or so help me.

"Hyung? I'm not gonna get any food on the table." he groans, throwing his head back in distress as I continue to eye him with my evil, dark orbs, that burn into the side of his skull.

"You said that last time." a grumbling voice states. Of course it was Yoongi, he wouldn't hesitate to throw any of us under the bus if he really wanted to.

"Aish! Hyung! Let me live!" Jungkook huffed at the smaller male, who just shrugged his shoulders in response.

Not much conversation was sparking at the moment, but then again, it never did. Everyone's always so transfixed on their food that we completely forget about the existence of the person sitting across/next to us.

Out of the blue, the silence is sliced through by the sound of a ringing phone, my phone to be exact.

I set down my chopsticks and fish out my bubble-gum pink phone, reading the contact that covered the screen, it's Moonbyul.

"Why is she calling so late?" I ask myself. Moonbyul never called at night, she barely ever called me at all, usually we just text. I bring my thumb to the green icon on the right side of the screen, then swiping to answer before lifting the device to my ear.

"Hello? Moo-" is all I can get out before my words were cut off by her cries. I exchange concerned glances with my members as they stare at me with puzzled expressions.

"Turn on the news, right now." she commands, her voice trembling violently as she spoke, all her words,  barely audible, yet I understand what she said.

I use my body to push back the chair, excusing myself from the table. Then, speeding over to the living room, snatching the remote off the white stone fireplace, then flipping on the flat screen, clicking the buttons on to set it to the news channel.

My eyes instantly growing wide at what was shown on the screen. I can't believe my eyes, or ears.

"Breaking news: EXID gets into a horrendous car crash. Witnesses say their driver tried to avoid hitting a deer that stopped in the middle of the road, causing the car to swerve into more oncoming traffic, the car was then hit by a semi-truck."

"Most members have been reported to be okay, but one. Ahn Heeyeon, or Hani has been sustained multiple brutal injuries, along with Jeonghwa. The maknae of EXID has just been released from surgery not too long ago. Hani on the other hand, is still in the process of multiple surgeries. We hope for the best of the well-being of the EXID members."

The screen flashs with images of the wrecked vehicle. I can't even tell that it used to be a car at all, it seemed as if it were the burnt skeleton of an elephant that had set on fire.

Glass coated the ground along with pieces of what used to be the body of the car, even the bumper was torn from the car, rested in the grass a few yards away.

"That's insane, we just saw them a couple hours ago, and now they're in the hospital?" I can faintly hear Jimin say, his head bowed in shame, hoping for the safety of their members.

"I'm gonna go visit them. I really hope Hyelin is hurt too badly." Hoseok announces, yanking the car keys off the hook, the jiggling of the metal capping against each other bring me back to reality as if telling me that this wasn't a dream.
