The award show ended finally, all the idols were in relief that we didn't have to perform anymore and could just go home, eat, and sleep. I know I was ready to do just that.
"Congrats, Hani!" I hear someone say, I snap my head to face the direction of the husky yet feminine voice, of course it's Moonbyul.
I flash a gentle smile before my feet automatically fimd themself to going in Mamamoo's location.
"Thanks, Moonbyulieee! How are you guys?" I beam to the other female members.
"We are doing great! You guys killed it out there! Great job!" The Platinum blonde, petite female grin, Solar really was a sweetheart.
"Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it." I nod my head.
"The 92' liners gotta meet up, it's been so long since we've all hung out. Do you know when you are free?" The silver haired Moonbyul asks me, punching my arm playfully before wrapping me in her arms.
"I think sometime this weekend is good for me, I'll see and text the group chat." I respond honestly, before saying my fairwells to them, then sprinting to catch up to my members, who already already been in the car waiting for me.
"Alright! I'm here." I laugh, climbing into the peach leather seat in the backseat.
As soon as the car engine roars to life, simultaneously the sky does as well, then a drop splats on the window.
We quickily slam the door closed, preventing the fallen water from entering the car.
Not even minutes later, more water droplets pounded onto the matte, acrylic, body of the car we sat in, the constant tap of the fallen water coming into to contact with the glass of my window, sent me to a soothing state.
My eyes found themselves mentally predicting where the drops' trails would go, occupying my thoughts once again.
Before I knew it, the rain becomes heavier, so heavy that I can barely see what's ahead of us, I don't know how the driver can.
I just stare out the window, the sky lit up with streaks of light that stuck out from the eerie darkness, following these lights was deafening roaring, as if Angels and Demons were throwing ceramic dishes at one-another in the clouds above.
Our car zooming down the streets, way too fast for my comfort, especially since the rain seemed to strip away our sense of sight.
"Hey, shouldn't we slow down? Especially, in this weather?" Solji gulped, I can tell by how shaky her tone was, that she's just as concerned as I am.
Suddenly, in the distance, I see a shape, figure, something's in the road,
I can barely make-out what it is.
"WATCH OUT FOR THE DEER!!" I hear Hyelin scream, my head whips in Jeonghwa's direction...she wasn't wearing her seatbelt.
I already know we are going to crash, I couldn't let Jeonghwa get hurt, or possibly killed, so I throw off my own seatbelt, and pull Jeonghwa into my arms, securing her head in my arms, my head above hers.
A mix of blaring horns and terror filled shrieks floods my ears, my body is tossed around like a ragdoll along with Jeonghwa's, but I have Jeonghwa my arms, securing myself around her, using my own body to soften her blows.
It seems as if it's all in slow-motion: the various sized shards of glass that exploded in my face, gashing my left cheek, the crashing sounds, that I can barely hear.
My head pounds as loud as my heart.
Slowly things become dim.
Then it all fades to a pitch black...
YAY! I updated two times today! I don't really have much to say besides, thank you for reading! I hope you enjoyed this chapter! Love you all! Have a great day/night!
