Jungkook sighed in defeat and followed the girl from behind.
Min Su kept blabbering and he just nodded in response.
When they were walking, Min Su suddenly stopped her step and Jungkook flinched, wondering why the girl stopped walking.
"What's wrong?" Jungkook asked.
Min Su shutted his mouth by putting her hands on it.
"Some people said, there is a wild dog here, so we need to be careful." She whispered. Jungkook pushed her hand away and rolled his eyes.
"It's just a dog," Jungkook exclaimed.
"A wild dog," she glared at him while emphasizing the word 'wild'. She took his hand together with hers and walked slowly. Jungkook just followed her lead but not until they heard a dog barking.
Both of their eyes enlarged and they froze.
"What should we do?" Min Su whisper-yelled while nudging Jungkook.
"Don't talk nor do anything for now. I will count till three, then we'll run." Jungkook took a deep breathe.
"One-"
"Run!" They both ran as the dog chased them.
Jungkook grasped her hand and ran faster.
"Jeon Jungkook, slow down!" Min Su yelled.
"If you want your face to appear in news, saying you are dead for being bitten by a dog then up to you, I don't want to die yet," Jungkook shouted while running, still holding her hand as Min Su just let him be.
While running he saw an alley nearby, Jungkook quickly pulled Min Su for hiding. They heard the dog still barking. Min Su looked at him with anxious look. He then closed himself with Min Su. Her face was on his chest and both of their heart beating fast.
Not because of their closeness, it was because of the dog.
It was still early to feel that way.
After a few minutes, the barking of the dog was no where to be heard. Both of them sighed heavily as the dog was finally gone.
They quickly pushed each other and panted, trying to find the air to breathe.
"This is all because of you," Jungkook groaned.
"What the fuck, I did nothing!" Min Su said angrily.
"Why we use this shortcut whereas we can use the road you always use?" he asked while furrowing his eyebrows. She pressed her lips in a thin line, avoiding eye contact.
"I thought you have something to do and need to be fast," she muttered while pouting. His eyes softened and sighed. He suddenly felt guilty.
"I'm sorry then." He said nonchalantly.
"And stop pouting. It makes you look uglier than before." He continued as he then walked away, leaving her dumbfounded.
"What the— I'm not ugly, for god sake." She yelled at Jungkook and he just giggled silently.
