"It's late already, let's go home." Min Su suggested, making the brunette flinched and he quickly agreed with her. Min Su wondered why did he act like that but shrugged off and followed behind him.
They walked until they reached Min Su's house. Her mother, Mrs Lee was outside, watering the plants.
"Mom!" She ran to her mother and Jungkook followed her from behind.
"Why are you late?!" Mrs Lee knocked her head and Min Su winced in pain.
"Auch, mom!" She whined. Jungkook looked at their behaviour then smile. As soon as Mrs Lee diverted her eyes to him, he bowed.
"Hi, Mrs Lee." He greeted
"Oh, hello there! Who are you, handsome boy?" Mrs Lee smiled.
"I'm Jeon Jungkook, your new neighbor!" He smiled sheepishly.
"Wow, you suddenly become polite!" Min Su exclaimed. Mrs Lee pinched her arms and asked her to shut up.
"I'm sorry, she's quite rude." Mrs Lee joked.
"No, it's totally fine. I'm used to it." Jungkook replied while scratching his head.
"Yah—"
"Jungkook, please come to our house tomorrow. Let's have dinner together. Consider this as a welcome sign to this neighbourhood." Mrs Lee cut off.
"I would love to, I will tell my parents about this," he said.
"I think I should leave now. I'll come again tomorrow with my parents." Jungkook continued. He bowed again and left the two.
"He has chubby cheeks," Her mother said.
"I told you," Min Su replied.
"I hope you won't pinch his cheeks." Mrs Lee glared at Min Su.
"I already did," she mumbled.

The dinner went well as the two families were eating while chatting with each other.
But their children kept glaring at each other as they were fighting over a meat.
"I want that meat first," she mouthed. He shook his head and pointed at himself as he also wanted to eat the meat while glaring at her.
"Mine," he mouthed. Min Su gritted her teeth and tried to take the meat but Jungkook was faster than her. He took the meat first and ate it. She then kicked his leg and that made him choked on the meat.
"Wa—water please," he pleaded. Both of the parents stopped chatting and turned their attentions to Jungkook meanwhile Min Su was just trying to hold back her laugh before helping him.
"Are you okay, Jungkook?" Mrs Jeon asked.
"Ye-yea, I'm okay." He faked a smile and glared at Min Su. She gave him a thumbs up, scratching her nose.

"Thank you for inviting us," Mr Jeon said.
"No problem. Welcome to this neighbourhood, anyways. If you want anything, please tell us." Mr Lee replied.
The families bowed to each other and bid their goodbyes.
"See you tomorrow at school, Lee Min Su." Jungkook winked.
"Okay, chipmunk!" Min Su waved.
As soon as they went in, Min Su ran upstairs and closed the door, laying on the bed.
"His cheeks becomes more squishy when he eats. I'm soft."
