Training

          "Love, time to wake up." Groaning I shove my face farther into Emmett's chest. I hear him chuckle and shivers go down my body. "Come on you need to get ready." "For what?" I grumble out. "We start training today, and I'm not letting you out of my sight so up." Letting out a sigh I open my eyes and let out a yawn. "Awe you're so cute." He coos making me glare at him. "Hush." Getting up off my bed I make my way to my closet. "Am I training with you all?" I ask. "Uh Carlisle might want to test your abilities but other than that I don't think so." Nodding my head I grab a pair of clothes and go towards my door. "Where are you going?" Emmett ask instantly by my side with his arm around my waist. "To take a shower?" I say but comes out more as a question. "Oh, Can I join?" He asks a grin on his face. "No." I say walking out.

Closing the bathroom door I strip down and turn on the shower. Once it's warm enough I get in and allow the water to cascade down my body. Letting out a small relaxed sigh I grab my shampoo. Quickly washing myself and rinsing, I turn off the water and step out. After drying myself, I put some lotion on and start getting dressed.

Walking back to my room I find Emmett standing there already dressed in work out gear. Seeing me Emmett lets out a whistle. "You look sexy." He says walking up to me and placing his hands on my waist. "You don't look to bad yourself." I tell him with a smile. Slowly he brings his head down capturing my lips with his. Wrapping my arms around his neck I bring him down closer while deepening the kiss. He slides his tongue over my bottom lip asking for entrance. Immediately I allow him access. Picking me up I wrap my legs around Emmett's waist. Slowly he walks towards my bed not once braking the kiss. Laying me down he hovers over me braking the kiss just to start kissing down my neck and on my chest. His hands roam my body as he brings his lips back to mine. Suddenly a knock sounds. Braking the kiss I let out a small groan. "Yes?" I call to the person behind the door. "We need to leave Ari before we're late for the training." Bella says. Looking up at Emmett I see him smiling down at me try to hold in his laughter. "Alright! I'll be out in a second." I tell my sister. Leaning in I peck Emmett's lips once more before rolling away and getting up. "See you at the field, love." He says going towards my window. "See you there." Opening the door I greet Bella with a smile. "Alright, let's go." I say happily walking ahead of her. Getting down stairs I kiss my dad goodbye and exit the house, Bella trailing behind me.

"So what were you and Emmett doing in your room?" Bella asks once we're in the truck. "Nothing..." "Really cause Edward said he could her you two getting a little close." She says sending a smirk my way making my face heat up. "So we were kissing, nothing else." I say looking away from her. I hear her laugh a little. "You have changed so much since coming here, I'm happy." She says. Looking back at her I see that she's serious. "I feel different. I feel like I have the piece of me that I've been missing for a long time." I say honestly. "Thank you." Looking at me confused Bella asks, "For what?" "For bringing me home, for introducing me to Emmett and the others. You have helped me fill the hole inside." I say. "You're welcome. Now come on we're here." She says giving me one of her rare non-awkward smiles.

Walking towards the field Bella immediately goes to Edwards side. Walking towards Emmett I offer a smile to him. "Why hello there, love." He greets placing his arm around my waist and bringing me close to him. "So when are the wolves Getting here?" I ask in a normal voice knowing that everyone can hear. "They should be here any minute, why don't we get started...Emmett?" Looking down at me he pecks my cheek and walks away. "You ready?" Jasper asks he southern accent coming out thick. "I was born ready." Emmett says running towards him. Jasper anticipating this moves his way around and throws Emmett across the field. Looking at Emmett worried I notice he's smiling clearly enjoying getting thrown around. Emmett goes to start again but stops abruptly when the sounds of paws hitting the ground can be heard.

All the wolves come to the clearing all ready to pounce if need be. "The don't trust us enough to be in human form." Edward states going to stand next to Carlisle. "They came that's all that matters." Carlisle says. "Will you translate for me?" He asks making Edward nod slightly. Look besides me I see a wolf, Paul's wolf to be exact. "Hey Paul." I whisper petting him. " Welcome. Jasper has experience with newborns. He'll teach us how to defeat them." Carlisle starts pausing for their response. "They want to know how newborns differ from us." " They're a great deal stronger than us,
because their own human blood lingers in their tissues. Our kind is never more physically powerful...than in our first several months of this life." Carlisle explains. " A newborn army, doesn't need thousands like a human army. And no human army could stand against them." Jasper says pausing for a second before continuing. " The two most important things to remember are, first... Never let them get their arms around you.They'll crush you instantly. The second...Never go for the obvious kill. They'll be expecting that. And you will lose." Walking back onto the field he gestures to Emmett. "Emmett?" Nodding Emmett gets into position. "Don't hold back." "Not in my nature." Emmett says running towards Jasper only to be thrown again. I hear a snort and look towards Paul who is looking at the fight contently.

"Who's next?" Jasper asks stepping forward. "I'll go." I say raising my hand in the air. Everyone turns my way looking at me in disbelief. I hear a growl and smack Paul on the nose. "do not growl at me." I say making the Cullen's all let out a snicker. "Are you sure?" Jasper asks. Nodding my head I step forward. "Alright, take your pick." He say gesturing to all the vampires in the field. Putting on a thinking face I notice Emmett pointing at himself mouthing 'pick me pick me'. "I want to go against you." I say looking back at Jasper with a smirk. "Ari..." "Alright get in position I'll act as the newborn, you defend." He says. Nodding I go to the other side on the field stretching as I do so.

"Ready?" Jasper asks. Nodding I get into a fighting stance. "Bring it blood sucker." I say with a smirk. Nodding Jasper moves towards me. As he goes to grab me I make a force field throwing him back. Using my mind I lift him up and throw him to the ground. "Try using the weapons." Carlisle says standing at the side with Esme. Nodding I think of a sword and one appears in my hand. Swinging it around I let my force field down and gesture for Jasper to come towards me. Doing as told Jasper runs towards me dodging all my hits. He goes to grab me but using my mind I lift myself up into the air. As Jasper looks around for me I take my chance to drop onto his shoulders and place a dagger towards his throat. "And you're dead." I say hopping down and dusting the dirt off. Turning around I notice that everyone's looking at me in awe. "My turn!" Emmett yells excited only to receive growls from the wolves. "I think that's all for today, good work out there everyone, we will pick it up tomorrow." Carlisle says making Emmet groan. "Oh hush you big bear." I say to Emmett. "So mean." He says playfully. "Whatever. Will you take me home? Bella and Edward are taking his car and I don't want to drive the rust bucket Bella calls a truck." I say using my puppy dog eyes. "Oh alright, let's go." He says picking me up and throwing me over his shoulder. "Bye everyone! I'll see you later!" I yell waving at the amused Vampires and wolves.
