(y/n) turned around, confused. "yea what?"

Varian pulled her in close with his arms around her
"I'm sorry baby"
"what?"

he held her tighter. "I'm sorry. you deserve so much better than me. i don't deserve you."

"Varian what are you-"
"I'm SORRY (Y/N). IM SO SORRY."
he cried into her shoulder.

"I'm sorry. you're so beautiful and talented and" he paused and looked her in the eyes "and I'm just the clumsy dangerous screw-up that just drags you down."

(y/n) patted his soft black hair.
"Varian, you don't drag me down, i love you! what are you talking about?"

Varian cried even harder. "you deserve better than me! everyone calls you dangerous just because you're dating me"

(y/n) hugged him back and kissed his forehead.

Varian was shocked at how she could still love someone like him.
