chapter 3 : the skater and the lady

" You never told me you loved me. "

marysaa is poking my sides.

" I love you. Leave me. "

i say turning away from her.

" Get up. "

" No. "

" Fine. "

at that moment I feel her get on the bed and start jumping. i push her off, making her land on my carpet.

" I'm up! "

i look at her as she gets off the ground with an evil smile on her face.

we walk down the stairs and see my mom up and Laura in the shortest shorts I have ever seen.

" Are you wearing two underwares? "

" No these are shorts. "

" You sure? "

maryssa asks her.

" Yes im sure. This is the new trend. . . Wait what are you doing here? "

" I stayed over. "

" Your mom called. "

my mom tells her. i'm not sure if she was mad. she's washing the dishes looking outside.

" What did she say? "

" You have to go back. "

" What? "

both of us asked. most of the time maryssa's parents let her stay over. It's strange that her mom didn't want her to be here.

" Why? "

i asked my mom. she turned around and looked at maryssa.

" She said you need to spend time with Jay. "

Jay is maryssa's cousin.

" Ughhh. "

she went upstairs and I could hear her starting to talk with someone.

" Is something wrong? "

i asked my mom.

" Not that I know of. "

she went back to washing the dishes.

a few minutes later she came back.

" So? "

" She said Jay's parents are divorcing so she needs someone to talk to. But I convinced her to let me stay till 4:00. "

i looked at the clock and saw that it was 10:00.

" Want to go to the park? "

i asked her.

" Sure. "

" Be back by 2:00. "

my mom told me. we got dressed and walked to the park.
