Chapter Eighteen

It had been a month since mine and Harry’s date and I was still buzzing. It did suck not being able to run up to him and kiss him everyday but we were still having fun when we were alone together. Everyday when I got to school I would be texting him or we would be talking on facebook or anything like that. Just so we didn’t have to wait to the weekends to talk. I did feel a bit upset when I saw Zayn and Jemma, Liam and Eggs and Tara and Louis together, but then I just thought about Harry and I was fine.

“Hey Emily, can I show you something in the music room please? It for the assignment. ”

What was he talking about? We didn’t have a music assignment.

“Sure Harry. Ill uhh… meet you up there?”

“Ok what did you wan to show me?”

“This.”

He leaned in and kissed me.

“Good morning”

I leaned back surprised and speechless.

“Morning”

He kissed me again and even though I was so excited to be with him and wanted to tell the world, I knew us being a secret was the best thing.

“What the hell is going on here?!?”

Shit. Eggs caught us. She tried to run away and Harry pulled her back.

“Let go of me. Em what are you doing? He lied to you. And now you’re lying to me? And everyone else? What about Elyse? Huh?”

“Eggs, Stop for a second okay. Emily and I were just talking.”

Right Harry. Nice try but she is not going to believe that.

“Harry. I need to tell her. There is no point in hiding now.”

“Babe are you sure?”

“Calling me babe didn’t exactly keep the secret hidden.”

“Right. Oops”

Eggs still looked a little bit shocked. She tried to run again but Harry beat her to the door and locked it.

“Ok Eggs you need to listen to me. Harry and I are dating. We have been for about a month.”

“And you didn’t think to tell us? Some friend you are.”

“Please don’t be mad. I couldn’t tell anyone, especially Elyse. I just couldn’t do it to her.”

“Okay fine. But that doesn’t explain why you chose him. You couldn’t have dated someone different. This is the guy who basically took you on a date, then ignored you for a week then dropped a bombshell. Why?”

“Look, he came to my house and he apologised and he took me on a romantic walk and explained everything. I know it seems stupid, but I don’t care.”

“Okay fine. Em, you have till the end of the week to tell everyone about you and Harry. Or I will.”

“What! Please don’t make me do this.”

“This is for your own good. I know it seems like a bad idea but the longer put it off, the more pissed off people will be. And by people I mean Tara.”

“I guess your right. Just don’t say anything to Liam ok?”

“Deal. Can I go now?”

“Yeah”

Harry opened the door and Eggs walked out calmly. He shut the door and I could feel the tears piling up.

“We don’t have to do this Em.”

“Yeah we do. But I need you to do it with me.”

“Okay babe.”

We sat there for a while just talking about when and how we were going to tell everyone.

“Okay. We will do it tomorrow after school at my place.”

“Done. Are you sure you want to do this Em?”

“I’m sure.”

And with that, my relationship went from perfect to completely crazy.
