Getting to school I saw the last person I wanted to, Elyse. Shit! I forgot she had gone away for the week with her family. Now I had to tell her. I walked over to my friends and Harry came and kissed me. I guess I didn’t have to tell her now. I looked at Elyse and I could see her holding back her tears.

“Sorry. I, Uh have to go to the bathroom.”

“Elyse, wait.”

I chased after her into the bathroom. She wouldn’t even look at me,

“Elyse, I wanted to tell you. But you were away. And I didn’t want to do it over the phone.”

“How long? How long have you been dating Harry?”

“About two months.”

“So you went out with him right after we broke up? Were you dating him while I was?”

“No! I would never do that. I didn’t even know you had broken up until he came to my house.”

“He came to you. After we broke up? He never liked me did he? He just went out with me to get close to you.”

“How could you say that? He told me that he did like you.”

“Look, I just, I guess I always knew he liked you.”

“How? What are you talking about?”

“I always saw him looking at you, with a half smile. Trying not to obvious that he was totally in love with you. You honestly never noticed?”

“No. I didn’t. Elyse im sorry that you found out like this and I know you must hate me, but im really happy with Harry and I think I kinda love him.”

Elyse looked at me in shock, surprise and then she smiled.

“I don’t hate you, I never could. And I am happy for you; it was more the shock than anything. And you love him??!”

“Yeah I think so. Please don’t say anything to anyone though. I don’t know if I should say anything.”

“I won’t say anything. I just think you should.”

We hugged and she walked out of the bathroom. I stood there thinking about what she said. Should I tell him? Now I have a new thing to worry about.
