Hey guys, it's Aura. It's been a long time, hasn't it? Almost every author note chapter I put out, I always say that it's been a long time, huh? I'm a rising junior in high school, and it's summer break now in the US. Also, Octo Expansion just came out. Amazing level design, AMAZING MUSIC, and a complete backstory on everything up to the end of Splatoon 2. At least I hope it is, for the sake of this two part series that has been going on for around 4 years.
Now that Octo Expansion is out, I can finally solidify this story into something that makes sense.
Alright, you guys ready?
This will be my last ever big project on Wattpad.
You know, as a little middle schooler, I had big dreams about the worlds of video games, imagining scenarios that could canonically happen. That's where Fanfiction.net and Wattpad came into play.
Although, as the years go by, writing stories as a hobby has changed to music.
Music is and always will be my favorite/strongest hobby/talent, not writing, albeit I enjoy writing a lot, especially about Splatoon.
As I reread Splatoon: The Corruption of Ink, I began to recall the grand ideas that I had pertaining the characters; Silver, Sapphire, etc. The ideas of this war depicted in this fanfic series has been resurrected in the depths of my mind, and I have newfound inspiration to finish it once and for all.
I may have lost readers with this four year long hiatus, but all you remaining readers, I appreciate you guys for keeping these series locked away at the bottom of your Wattpad libraries. When I finish this sequel, ultimately finishing this series, as well as editing the first and second fanfics, I can finally give some sufficient closure to my short-lived career writing on Wattpad.
Don't worry, I'll stick around occasionally, writing a short fanfic or two. But, the main thing to be done is this amazing, probably, in my opinion, the best Splatoon fanfiction on Wattpad. I just have to prove it with this last sequel.
