Day 6 pt. 2 • Abbie

We arrived at prom. The planning committee did a great job with al the decorations. Will walked up to Jade and like a prince, recited some very handsome and sweet words

"Jade will you dance with me?"

Jade turned "oh hey Will. I'll be right back. I'm going to go say hi to Luke!"

Will was furious and stormed off. I'm pretty sure everyone knows Luke likes Jade anyways.

"Hey Luke"

Luke smiles

"Got any date yet" she joked

"Actually..."

"U did!!!"

"Nope" he frowned

He added "how's Will"

"He's okay."

I interrupt them
"I'm going to get a drink be right back"

As I was walking I saw Will from the corner of my eye.... except.... he wasn't alone. He was with Amy. They laughed together and looked into each other's eyes, Will keeping his eyes on Amy's lips. They went in for it.

I stood there frozen.

He grabbed her hair while she grabbed his face.

The makeout session went on for about 5 minutes.

Jade comes up beside me

"Abbie what's going...."

She also freezes.

"Is that W...W...I"

She can't get the words to flow so I continue her question.

She nods

I nod back

Jade runs off into the bathroom, Luke following her.

8:23 P.M.

Chris and I are having the best time! We kissed! We freaking kissed! I can't believe that Chris Montgomery freaking kissed me! It was magical.

One of the prom committee members popped up and asked to take a picture for yearbook.

"Of course" Chris and I sat at the same time.

I reach in my pocket for my phone

"Chris have you seen my phone?"

"Nope why" he replies

"I can't find it. Maybe I dropped it outside I'll be back quickly.

I head outside.

Sitting on the steps was James. He seems so lonely. Why wouldn't any girl ask him out. He is pretty cute.

I walk up to him, forgetting about my phone.

"Hi"

He murmurs hi back and we just sit in awkward silence until he opens his mouth.

"Look Abbie, I know you are in there with Chris and all but I just wanted to tell you, I thin Chris is the most luckiest kid ever. He gets to be with you. You are so pretty inside and out. I know you don't like me but please at least give me a chance."

His eyes are mesmerizing. I can't stop looking into them. It's like I'm hypnotized.

My lips slowly move closer to his and I feel his breath lay on me. This feels so wrong but so right at the same time.

Chris walks out to come check on me.

"WHAT THE HELL" his face lights up
"ABBIE!!!"

He runs up to James and punches his face.

"CHRIS!" I yell

"Oh what you're gonna defend your new boyfriend. It's literally been 4 minutes!"

He's right. I moved on in four minutes. I cheated on someone. I feel so bad for Chris but that kiss with James was amazing.

"It's not what it looks like Chris"

"It's exactly what it looks like! U slut"

Tears flow down my eyes. My childhood crush just called me the worst thing ever. I frown and walk away.
