Detention [RIVERDALE]

Chapter 1

(A/N this is all in General POV or a Characters POV.)

Kevin Keller's POV

I was the first here. I sat in the library waiting for more people to come in. I started to read a book but I began to hear the sound of a pair of black stiletto heels along the corridor, coming to the library.

Veronica Lodge.

She opend the door and smiled at me then took a seat. She sat at the front table in the middle seat, while I sat at the back in the right side of my table.

I started to read my book again but the door opend to reveal a read headed jock.

Archie Andrews.

He sat down in front of me to the left. He turned around and looked at me. "Your Kevin Keller right?" He asked.

"Yeah," I replied looking up from my book.

"Cool, I'm Archie." He said giving me a handshake. I already knew who he was, he's practically everyone's gossip unless its about Jughead Jones the school's criminal.

About 5 minutes later two girls came in.

Cheryl Blossom.

Betty Cooper.

They hang out a lot, they're practically sisters. Matter a fact, I think they're cousins.

Betty sat on the corner of the desk behind Veronica and Cheryl sat at the one next to Veronica, in front of Archie.

Veronica and Betty started talking whilst Cheryl was touching up her makeup. Archie was on his phone even though he kept glancing at Veronica. It's kind of obvious that he likes her but nobody talks about it because practically every girl has a crush on Archie. 

Then, a short pink haired girl came in.

Toni Topaz .

She went and sat next to Cheryl. I think Cheryl and Toni would be cute together but I don't think either if them is gay. But I still have high hopes for Choni!

Just as she took a seat the main singer if the pussycats came in.

Josie McCoy.

She came and sat next to me even though there was a free desk behind Betty.

She was about to say something but then Principal Wheatherbee came barging in with a tray and a piece of paper.

"Hello everyone." He said, clearly he would rather do anything than spend his Saturday here, from the tone of his voice. "Lets just check you are all here," he said looking the paper. "Archie Andrews?"

"Here." Replied Archie.

"Betty Cooper?" He asked.

"Here." She said not cheerfully at all.

"Veronica Lodge?" 

"Here."

"Kevin Keller?" 

"Here." I said raising my hand like all the others.

"Josie McCoy, Toni Topaz and Cheryl Blossom?" He asked.

"Here." They all said, raising their hand.

"Jughead Jones?" He asked.

There was no reply. 

Weatherbee looked around the six tables to see he wasn't there.

He rolled his eyes, "No surprise he's late or skipping." 

Just then the door swung open to reveal him himself.

Jughead Jones.

"Your late." Said Weatherbee annoyed.

"Only by two minutes!" Said Jughead as he took a seat next to my desk, behind Betty's.

"Phones." He said as he walked by each person with the tray. 

After everyone had handed in their phones, he left. 

The room fell silent.

This is going to be a long detention....
