Detention [RIVERDALE]

Chapter 6

VERONICA'S POV

Cheryl got her red leather Chanel bag and pulled out a bottle of cherry cola and placed it in the middle of the circle. We sat in this order, Cheryl, Betty, Kevin, me, Josie, Archie, Jughead and Toni. 

"Who wants to go first?" Asked Cheryl, smirking at everyone. "Why don't you Betty?" She said smirking at her.

Betty looked at her oddly, "um, I think i'll pass." 

"You can't pass! Just spin it!" Said Toni as she motioned to the bottle in the middle.

Betty rolled her eyes and spun it. Everyone watched eagerly as it started getting slower and slower. Past Kevin, passed me, passed Josie slower, Archie almost and then it stopped at Jughead.

Betty and Jughead both slowly looked at each other wide eyed. Cheryl smirked at this, clearly she wanted it to land on Jughead.

"No." Said Betty and Jughead at the same time.

"Why not? It's just a kiss!" Insisted Cheryl.

"I'm not going to kiss her/him!" They both said at the same time again.

Cheryl rolled her eyes and picked up her bottle. "You will, just not right now." She said smirking placing her bottle back in her bag. 

They both looked at her in disgust and rolled their eyes.

10:47 in the library.

We all sat in the library silent, bored and tired. Jughead has fallen asleep so had Josie, Toni and Archie. Only awake where me, Cheryl, Betty and Kevin.

"Betty?" I asked.

She looked up at me, "yeah?" 

"Why didn't you want to kiss Jughead?" I asked looking into her green eyes.

Betty gave me a questioning look.

"Like why though?" Chipped in Cheryl.

"Because I'm not going to kiss Jughead! He's like a criminal and stuff! Also, my mother totally wouldn't allow it! And, I'm not going to kiss him! There's sure to be gossip and I will have a bad reputation from the school! I actually care about my school life you know!" Rambled on Betty,, crossing her arms.

"Why is kissing Jughead a bad thing about your school reputation?" Asked Cheryl. 

"Because, school stuff can get out of school and onto the streets and my mother walks those streets and she knows how bad Jughead is and if she found out I kissed him she would be off her rails! And, I don't want to give teachers a bad impression either!" Betty shouted back at Cheryl.

"Can't you just kiss him and don't tell your mom and we promise not to tell anyone?" Kevin suggested.

"I don't trust you guys and besides, I would never kiss him in a million years!" Finished Betty.

"You do realise your going to get forced to kiss him by Cheryl?" I said.

"I'll just ignore her." Betty said turning away from us in her seat.

I kinda ship them though....
