Detention [RIVERDALE]

Chapter 3

VERONICAS POV

It had been about ten minutes ago that Betty and Jughead had that argument. 

"I'm bored..." moaned Jughead as he continued to tap his pencil on the desk.

"Yeah, that's the whole point of detention. Your supposed to sit there and do nothing and not talking so SHUT IT!" Betty shouted at Jughead. 

jughead rolled his eyes and continued to tap his pencil on the desk. Jughead kept his head low but looked up at Betty. Betty smiled at him and he smiled back.

Wait.

What.

Betty Cooper the perfect girl next door and enemy of Jughead Jones the towns criminal just SMILED at each other!

I turned around to see Kevin shocked too but in a happy way. I smiled back and he pointed at them and mouthed 'Bughead'. What the hell is Bughead? I gave him a confused look. He took out his notebook and ripped out a page and started to write on it. Then, he passed the letter from Archie to Toni to Cheryl then to me. I opend it and it said,

BETTY AND JUGHEAD ARE BUGHEAD

IM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO SAW THEM SMILING AT EACH OTHER!

I SHIP IT!

Honestly I ship it too.

"Hey guys?" Said Toni as she turned around looking at all of us. Everyone looked at her oddly.

"What?" Asked Betty.

"Why don't we get to know each other?" She asked. I gave her a confused look. "Since we are all going to be here for 8 Hours straight we might as well get to know each other." She said.

"It may have escaped your notice, but we can't get out of these seats or even TALK! So just be quiet I'm trying to do homework!" Said Betty as she continued her homework.

"Ok, boring Betty is out, Who's in?" She asked.

"Sure." Said Archie.

"Ok." I said.

Josie, Kevin and Cheryl all agreed but Betty and Jughead stayed behind.
