The riots of change began here
Than you for fighting
Thank you for continuing to blaze
Others need to adjust their attitudes
We are the persecuted
We are the forgotten
We are also strong
Stronger than families that discard us
Use your history to light
Torches of transformation
You are beautiful
Your are loved
You will counter the anger and turn it
Into a compassion
Cause that civility is normally
Dispatched by those who have suffered
Turn it into compassion.
I don't have to words but, I live my life in gratitude
Fists sky high
Head on straight
I raged but now I riot in celebration.
Thank you for the fight
We will all rage one.
I am a soldier for life in the rainbow brigade.
