I lost you to your biggest fear on earth
Water
My sister was 8 and didn't like the swim
They found her in the morning pinned to trees
I've never been the same since
Loss it's a terrible thing
It's been a humans worth of existing since your last smile
I remember jumping on your bed to records playing in the back
I remember you
Over 35 years have come and gone
Im getting older and some things I've forgot I'll continue in this life with crushing dispair, that when I was a child I lost my sister
Save my spot next to you
Until we meet again.
I hope I've made you proud and earned those wings.
