"You want to hear about the other clans?" asked Sparrowtail. When all four kits had nodded she continued. "Well as I'm sure you know, there are four clans in the forest, including Stormclan. There's Darkclan, Lightclan and Sunclan too. We share a border with both Darkclan and Lightclan, while Sunclan shares their other borders. Lightclan live in a part of the forest that has little undergrowth and the trees are far apart. They are very good at blending in with their surroundings, however, they are poor swimmers unlike us. Lightclan also never eats fish" Sparrowtail pauses while _____kit and Quietkit gasped as they had never heard of cats not eating fish before. "Oh yes, Lightclan never eats fish" continued Sparrowtail. "In fact, no other clan eats fish. Lightclan only really eats mice, birds, rabbits, voles and the occasional squirrel. Sunclan on the other paw, live in a part of the forest with only a couple of trees. Most of Sunclan's territory is open grassland and because of this, they are very fast runners. Sunclan can't swim at all! They mainly eat rabbits and mice as that's all that brave the open grasslands that Sunclan live in" Sparrowtail's face suddenly darkens. "That leaves us with Darkclan" she spits. "Those cold-hearted warriors are nothing but selfish fox-blooded scoundrels! They live in the darkest part of the forest and hardly ever see the sun's light. They hunt at night and always lay ambushes for their enemies rather than fighting on a honourable, open battlefield. They usually eat snakes, toads, frogs and other such slimey critters that live in Darkclan's marshes. I warn you now young kits! Never, NEVER, EVER! Trust a Darkclan warrior!" Sparrowtail spat the last words out so ferociously that Quietkit tumbled over backwards in her attempt to get away. "Sparrowtail! Don't scare the poor things. Don't worry young kits, Darkclan won't ever hurt you as long as you stay in the camp and obey the Warrior Code" meowed Blackpelt kindly. "Now young kits, it's time you went back to the Nursery." Looking up _____kit saw that the sun was setting.
