I just laugh and turn off my phone.
"ooh who are you texting Avi," Kassie beamed.
"take a wild guess," I say rolling my eyes.
"I know. Could it be someone named Jack...with a last name of 'Gilinsky'
"I don't know, how about you come over here and take a look," I smile, motioning for her to look at my phone.
"IT IS HIM! Awh y'all are so cute, but I still ship you and Grayson," she squeals.
"Oh my god stop. I haven't even gotten his number yet." I tell her. Yes I know, what an embarrassment.
"Oh-my-god you're kidding right?"
"Nope. Now we have to get ready, we're going to go to the beach, then we're going to Six Flags, OMG WE ARE GONNA HAVE SO MUCH FUN," I cheer, filled with excitement.

We finally arrive at the beach and before Johnson can even park the car the girls and I run out of it and head straight for the water.
"oh my gosh the view is so pretty," I exclaim. I'm literally so in love with it.
"but I have a better view in front of me," a deep, raspy voice behind me says.
I turn around and there I see a shirtless Jack in front of me. Woaaaaaah, ok Ava keep your cool, don't stare.
It's honestly really sad how that didn't work.
"Like what you see," he smirks.
"Maybe, But I look better," I smile.
"You are right about that, you honestly look really beautiful." He says, smiling widely at me. I swear his smile makes me melt inside.
"Oh please, I look more than beautiful." I joke, rolling my eyes.
"OKAY LOVEBIRDS STOP FLIRTING YOU'RE MAKING US SICK! NOW WHO'S UP FOR SOME BEACH VOLLEYBALL?" Carter yells.
Everyone starts cheering and we race for the volleyball net.
We're paired up into two teams. Girls vs Boys. This is going to be fun because I'm a pro at volleyball. (not in real life, I really suck)
The boys serve the ball to us and it goes over to our side of the net, Arielle hits the ball up and it bounces over to the boys and unfortunately their not able to serve it back.
"HAHA BITCHES, ONE POINT FOR US," Stassie screams, sticking her tongue out.
Since we got the first point we get to serve the ball first and I am the one to serve it. It goes really high into the air and over the net but the boys can't get it. They just look at me with their eyes widened.
"Boys, that's how you do it like a pro," I smirk.
Jack is just over there staring me down and smiling non-stop.
"Ok one more round, whoever gets the point wins. AND this time, ava can't make the serve," Nash explains.
"fine with me," I shrug.
Even without me making the serve we still win and we all cheer.
"Boys suck!" We all say.
We probably shouldn't have said that if I knew what was going to happen.
"RUN!" Arielle screams, and we all run.
If I didn't know Jack was so fast I would've ran faster.
"You're not fast enough girl," Jack says. Before I knew it he picks me up bridal style and runs toward the water.
"Jack please no don't do it, I'm begging you." I plead, not wanting to get dropped into the water.
"Fine, I guess I'll let you off the hook this time,"," he sighs.
"Oh gosh thank you so-
I also should've known he was up to no good when he dropped me.
I crashed into the water and yelled, then I came up sputtering.
"JACK WHAT THE HECK?!" I yell.
"Hahahahaha you should've seen the look on your face," he laughs.
"That's it, you have crossed the line boy!" I run towards him and pull his arm and dunk his head into the water.
"That's what you get annoying boy."
He comes back out of the water and he looks even more better. His hair is all wet and messy and water droplets fall down slowly from his chest.
"You're so cute when you're mad," he says smirking, as he runs his fingers through his hair.
"I'm not mad," I say, trying to walk out the water.
He grabs my arm and turns me back around pulling me closer to him. He runs his hands up and down my arms and then rests it on my hips.
We both look into each other's eyes before he moves closer to me. As much as I want to kiss him, I want to tease him.
I cover his mouth with my index finger before he can get any closer.
"Not today Gilinsky."
"You're such a tease," he says as we get out of the water.
"And you love me for it."
