{5} Just a Distraction

Ava's POV

I started applying my full makeup look which included my Maybelline mascara nude lipstick, foundation, concealer and some other things that bring magic to your face for makeup.

"Ava hurry up everyone's waiting for you downstairs!" I heard Kassie call out and I said back "I'll be right down!" We were currently in Stassie's house first before we would start heading off to the party at Sammy's house.

I dusted off my clothing which was a nude colored v neck body con dress with a cross wrap at the top exposing my mid riff and cleavage. The dress was tight but exposed my curves perfectly and made me look insanely attractive.

I grabbed my purse and left the bathroom from upstairs and walked downstairs. As soon as I got to the bottom of the stairs heads were turned and the boys were gawking at me.

I heard lots of "damns" under the boys' breaths and the girls were just giving me a good job signs. I spotted Jack in the back just staring at me and looking at me from the bottom of my body and to the top. He was biting his lower lip and then he started to lick his lips.

Lets make him see what he's missing out on.

"Ok guys I'm here now. Can we please go now?" I asked breaking the silence.

Everyone finally stopped staring and then got their stuff and headed out the house and walking to the cars.

"You look beautiful tonight Ava," I heard a raspy voice say behind me and I immediately knew it was Jack.

I turned back and gave him a smile. "You don't look too bad yourself
Jack. I see you dressed up for Madison."

"Tha-wait What?"

"Oh nothing nothing, let's not be late." I said smirking, and we walked over to the car.

Sammy's House

"Guys! I'm so glad you made it, thank you so much for coming!" Sammy announced as we walked in. He hugged everyone and we handed him his presents.

I really liked Sammy's house it was huge and there's many places that you can have fun in.

I went to get a drink when I spotted Cameron in the kitchen.

"Hey Cam," I told him, catching his attention as he turned around and faced me.

"Oh hey-whoa! Damn Ava you look absolutely....stunning. I cant even figure out the right words to say." He said looking me up and down making me to slightly blush.

"That's all you had to say." I told him smiling.

We made small conversation and then I looked to my right and saw Jack and Madison flirting with each other and talking and laughing.

That girl should be me, but of course Madison has to come up and destroy people's relationships.

I couldn't let her get to me though so I kept on talking with Cameron and we started soon flirting. I looked over to Madison and instead of her looking at me my eyes met Jack's and he was glaring at me or Cameron.

Jacks POV

I can't even believe this is actually happening. I'm seeing Cameron and Ava flirt with each other right in front of my eyes once again. I can't help but feel so jealous at the fact that he has her right in the palm of his hand like that. And I know she likes him back too but I can't let them be together. I still love her and I have to show her that I do. But then again I know she is still hurt, and I know she feels the same way me and Madison.
