Chapter 4:

          I get dressed in the overalls leaving them rolled down sitting on my hips. I set my holder belt along my hips and made sure the gun was tight inside. I straighten my shirt and left the woman’s bathroom.

          Everyone was in the diner eating and laughing among each other.

          “If they’re gonna stay with us they need to learn how to shoot a blaster,” I stated putting on my black leather fingerless gloves.

          “Come one Adren’ we can have a break today,” Ghoul sighed. “Yeah because when Dracs are on an extreme search that totally says ‘let’s take a break’.” I sassed.

          “Calm down,” Andy soothed putting his hand on my arm. Ghoul took his hand and bent it behind his back then slammed his face onto the counter.

          “You need to learn your boundaries; especially around my sister. You are on very thin ice; ‘ya hear. You don’t know respect and the only reason you aren’t ghosted right now is because of Dr. D. So if I were you I’d reckon that you back off.” Ghoul growled. He then released Andy and stormed off outside. I chased after him.

          “Fun Ghoul,” I yelped running after him. “I don’t like that boy.” Ghoul growled climbing on top of the roof for watch.

          “Don’t be mean to him just because he doesn’t know what happened to me.” I insisted.

          “Well he shouldn’t be laying his hands on you anyway.” Ghoul yelled twirling his blaster around his fingers.

          “Well what’d you reckon would happen? He’s a Wild One, a Rebel.” I laughed he giggled and shook his head.

          “You should get to bed you’re taking night watch tonight.” Ghoul advised. “I am I am don’t worry.” I sighed walking in the diner again.

          “Sorry about that, he just doesn’t want things to get bad again.” I apologized to Andy. “Again,” he recalled. I ignored him and headed to my room to get some shut eye before tonight’s watch.

          “Adrenilize wake up.” Party Poison shook me awake. “Go away Party.” I groaned rolling over.

          “Come on we have to leave now. Dynamite and Crash just got the new shipment.” Party begged. My eyes brought up and I jumped to my feet.

          “Well what are we waiting for, let’s go.” I smiled slipping on my boots. Dynamite Babe and California Crashing were two girls who ran a convenience store for Killjoys. They made their runs into Battery City picking up whatever they could, and then they would sell it in their shop for carbons.

          “Where are you going?” Andy asked as I was tying my mask on in the main room.

          “We don’t know how long those supplies are going to stay. We have to hurry.” Party exclaimed readjusting his mask so it would fit properly on his nose. “Come on Andy lets go.” Party smirked running out to the car before I could react.

          “What,” Andy mumbled. “You’re a Killjoy now you come along on Killjoy stuff.” I encouraged running out to the car and he shortly followed behind.

          I joined Party up front and Andy sat in the back. I turned on the radio to be surprised by my favorite duo called ‘Atomic Scars’. They were two Killjoys located in zone four. Their names were Atomic Radiation and Scar Point; they were an amazing couple.

          “Oh I love them.” Andy pointed out and Party and I swung our heads back to look at him which only resulted in clunking our heads together.

          “How do you know who they are?” I asked rubbing my temples after the impact.

          “I’ve heard them on the radio that we have at the Rebels head quarters.” Andy answered. I got out of the car pulling Party and Andy with me.

          “Guys I have an idea about how the Wild Ones can contact the Rebels!” I started.
