Chapter 29: Goodbye Agony
“ANDY!” Sammi yelled from the bathroom. I stared blankly at the problem, not thinking about it as much as I could. My eyes darted to the small leather bound FEAR bible. I reached for it, and Sammi smacked my hand away.
“What’s the problem Sam?” Andy asked before coming into the bathroom. “Her hair won’t dye.” Sam scoffed letting down my short fire hair. “I don’t understand why we had to dye my hair in the first place.” I muttered.
“Because if you go into a ballroom filled with 100s of FEAR members they’re going to notice a girl with fire hair.” Sam told. “What do you mean her hair won’t dye?” Andy asked crossing his arms while leaning against the doorway.
“I’ve dyed it twice now and every single time we dry her hair the fire colors seem to come back even brighter.” Sammi sighed. “The rapture does say that the savior is supposed to have fire hair.” Andy told.
“Yes but if you go into a crowded room filled with people who know the rapture by heart, they’re going to notice.” Sammi yelled.
“SHUT UP ALL OF YOU!” I screamed storming out of the room past Andy, downstairs, and down the hall to Outlaw’s room. Painkiller and Ashley were in there.
“Hey,” I sighed. “What’s wrong?” Painkiller asked. “Everything is starting to come back to me, and I’m getting awful headaches and I keep throwing up and I’m so stressed for tonight.” I sighed rubbing my temples.
“Maybe that’s a good thing; you might remember Andy.” Painkiller smiled. “No, it’s everyone except for Val and Andy.” I muttered. “I remember even that one thing you had to fix in my crotch but I don’t remember who was with me. For all, I know it was Val.” I scoffed.
“You remember me as a baby?” Outlaw asked. “Yeah, you were fat and adorable.” I smiled ruffling his hair. “I remember the first time Ashley and Painkiller talked,” I smiled.
“What did they say?” Outlaw asked. “Something not appropriate for me to repeat.” I smirked, and Ashley’s hand was tightly laced with Painkiller’s.
-Andy’s POV-
“What is she going to do when she finds out you have to die?” Sammi asked. “The rapture says: The leader of the broken and fallen shall rise from his grave once the Prophet has given up.” I sighed.
“This isn’t right Andy; she has to know.” Sammi protested. “We just need to get through tonight smoothly and once I die I need you to make sure that FEAR doesn’t retrieve my body.” I muttered.
“I promise Andy.” Sammi told. I nodded before walking to Outlaw’s room. “Baby I need to talk with you” I told to Adrenilize.
“I love you,” I told. “Andy what’s going on?” She asked. “I-I I have to-,” I started. “Cut my hair.” I chickened out. I can’t tell her; it would kill her.
“You’re so dramatic.” She smiled. “Come on I’m gonna need you to hold my hand” I smirked as we walked back up to Sammi. “I’m ready to cut my hair.” I sighed to Sammi, and I sat in her chair.
“You ready to lose most of your hair?” Sammi smirked brushing through my long hair. “Do it quickly before I change my mind.” I sighed, and Adren chuckled as Sammi started to cut.
“I have to say Sammi I don’t look too bad.” I smiled as I looked in the mirror. (Picture of the cut to the side). “I told you; now go get in your suit we’re leaving in an hour” Sammi ordered pushing me out the bathroom.
