(((_-Akiha's Pov-_)))My eyes shot open as I sat up in the hammock. Leaning forward, I pull myself out of the comfortable sack.
Mishu? I'm awake, now. I'd like control, please.
Of course, Akiha. You shall be able to see the gates soon.
The familiar rush hit my body, and I closed my eyes. My fists clenched as I felt myself walking.
Knowing that I was back in gears, I opened my eyes. The dirt under me had less rocks, and it was a pleasant feeling to walk on. The grass on the sides of the path was more vibrant, and the trees had a lot more variety.
"Oh, Akiha! The gates, you can see them!" My father exclaimed. I lazily looked up, my eyes still not fully opened, as I woke up moments before.
"Hmm." I didn't really have much to say. Well, even when I do, I'm a bit too shy to speak it.
My father grabbed my hand, picking up his pace. Like, chill. Please. My little legs could only walk so fast.
We reached the gates, the two guards only slightly awake. I glanced at the sky. Ah, it's only 6:00 A.M. That explains it.
"State your name and business!" The two shot up and shouted. I took a step back, glancing to the floor.
"Hakiro and Akiha Kaede, I would like to talk to the Hokage." He formally said, causing the one with spiked hair to appear more shocked.
"Yes, go straight through the village, Lord Hokage's Office is hard to miss." The other one said.
My father nodded, sending a smile to the two drowsy guards. They were clearly chunin.
We walked though the village, a happy aura surrounded the streets. How are people so joyous this early in the morning? Up ahead, you could clearly see a building taller than the rest.
"That's where we're going, isn't it?" I pointed to the large building.
"Well, of course. Now come! Time is only wasting!"
Both of us silently walked though the village, just looking at everything. Eventually, we reached the place.
My father pulled me along. He must have had a mission here, as he clearly knew where to go. I came to an abrupt stop behind the brown haired man.
In front of us was a door. A large door, at that. He looked at me, than at he door. My father dis a brief knock, before putting his arms behind his back.
"Come in." A gruff voice rang out, causing my dad to open the door.
We both walked inside, and I examined the room. It wasn't very detailed, and I could feel at least six different chakras in the room, Not including the people I could clearly see.
"Hakiro! I haven't seen you in ages. I haven't gotten a message that you were on a mission, what brings you here?" The old man spoke. So, my father has been here before.
"Actually, Lord Hokage, I would like to request living here, and also putting my daughter in the academy." He spoke with confidence. There's no way I could ever do that.
The Hokage held a warm smile. "Of course! Where are your twins, may I ask? And your wife?" Yup, they definitely know each other.
"I divorced her. She isn't the women she used to be. The other two shall, and will, be staying with her." The Hokage nodded.
"Well, you know where everything is still, don't you?" My father smiled. "I would assume you would like to live in the Kaede Manor, as it is in perfect condition."
Mishu, why would Kaede's have a manor here?
Many moved here after the tornado hit your old village. Many stayed here permanently, causing them to bulid a compound here. Your mother and father met in this village, your mother is how you got wood release.
I carefully listened to Mishu. So, my mother is a Senju...
"Akiha, c'mon!" I snapped out of my daze, walking right behind my father. I looked over my shoulder, getting the last look of the Hokage, to see him sending a smile towards me.
I abruptly looked forwards, not sure how to react. I heard my father chuckle, causing me to look down. He's definitely laughing at me. I felt my face heat up.
He quickly bent down, allowing me to crawl on my back, and I did just that. I clutched onto his shirt, noticing his old red forehead protector was in his hand. The new headband was a more rich and exciting red. Compared to the older maroon protector, that is. It looked more... lively.
In less than three minutes, we arrived at a compound surrounded by maple trees. It was breathtaking. I was astonished by the abandonment of the place.
My father put me down, grabbing my hand and guiding me down one of the paths. Eventually, we reached a beautiful house.
I was ushered into the cozy maple wood building, and I didn't even resist. I was... happy, to say the least.
I walked inside, and instantly started glancing around, as did my father. Red and green hues littered the living room, while orange and yellow accumulated the kitchen. Everything was in perfect condition, and even looked clean and dusted.
"Oh! Your room will be," He took a moment to think. " Ah! Third door on the left, you can go check it out. I'll start cooking, okay?"
I nodded, and walked up the spiral staircase. It didn't take long at all before I reached the second floor.
Opening the door to my new room, the light bounced off of the stained glass chandelier, the room dancing with blues, reds, and greens. The bed was pushed into the corner and there was comfortable and cozy furniture framing the room.
"Akiha! I made ramen!" Had it really been that long? I stopped questioning myself as my stomach rumbled.
I was already a malnourished girl, so I wasn't often hungry. I probably haven't eaten in a few days, if I'm actually hungry.
