(((-_Akiha's POV_-)))
The walk was short and sweet. Sasuke was was always looking around, Iiseo was adding comments to Naruto's topics, Naruto was yelling about the Hokage's and what the best types of ramen were.
What was I doing? I'm unimportant, nobody would care, anyways.
Once we reached the training grounds, Iiseo tossed a bag down that I hadn't realized he was holding.
It clearly held some weight, as there was an audible 'thump' when it hit the grassy floor. Senpai smiled at me. It feels strange to call him that, but it's out of respect.
"Your dad asked me to get some ninja supplies." I nodded. "It's all of the basics, but we shall go and get you a special weapon, one to help with your Senju trait."
Man, that is not going to be cheap. Wood Release is pretty rare, so it's weapons are not common like kunai or stars.
"Alright, everyone!" Ah, Senpai does have a voice. "Teamwork is vital. Each member of a squad has different strengths."
"Sasuke! You're the type to underestimate anyone in your path. You are strong and smart, but there is always someone stronger. Putting yourself in front of your teammates will just weaken their skills, which weakens yours. They are your backbone, and you need to put trust into them." He smiled, making Sasuke blush in embarrassment. Is there really that much to work on?
"Naruto, you simply need to think about your actions, and be more stealthy. I already have an activity set up for that, though." The blonde scratched the back of his neck, a small chuckle escaping.
"You have the determination of a lion, but the lion has no pack. It is weak without it's tribe. You overestimate your skills, even when you aren't even a genin." Naruto nervously chuckled once more, panic rising.
Senpai looked at me, and I instantly became nervous. I felt myself readying for the rant that was soon to come.
"Akiha, unlike the others, you doubt yourself. Just by your genetics, you can tell that you are a very strong girl. Being surrounded by... the people that you were, that on its own could drive someone to insanity."
I felt Naruto's curious eyes on me, trying to figure my puzzle out. I also felt Sasuke's intense look that greatly varied from his normal icy glare.
Mishu, do you know what happened with Sasuke?
Now is not the time for that, trust me.
I-Uh... Okay, Mishu.
"Anyways! I'm going to make some clones, and you have to go into the woods and hit them by throwing a star or a kunai. Understood?"
"Yes!"
"O-okay..."
"Hn."
The three quickly split up. Sasuke and Akiha leaped into trees while Naruto stayed on lower grounds.
"If I can see you, there's an issue. Naruto, you're squirming too much. Sasuke, can you even see a clone from there? Akiha, don't focus on your aiming so much. You're getting nervous!"
Trust your gut, Maple Leaf.
I looked towards Sasuke and gesture down to the clone in the middle of us. Aiming with my right hand, I counted down on my fingers to signal.
3,
2,
1!Two shuriken flew through the leaves, the clone dodging one to be hit by the other. I smiled, but it faded when I realized Naruto was no where to be found.
