Something Forgotten

Chapter 17- Small Detour

The drive home was filled with conversation, since it's be forever since we lasted seen eachother. "So, anything new?" Mike asks, eyes glued to the road. "I got a job." He nods, we stop at a red light. "So, what do you do at this job of yours?" I look at the car next to us. "Work with animatronics." From the corner of my eye, I could see him tense up, he never really liked animatronics much.

"That's .. cool." We go silent as the light turns green, the car moves, along with the ones beside and behind us. We turn right, and go down the familiar road, I point to my house and he turns into the driveway. "Do you want to come in?" He nods, and turns off the car. "Yeah, I want to see you a little longer." We get out and he locks the doors, I take out my house keys and go to the door, a note was on it. I take it and read it.

'We've brought what ever we found to your backyard
             
                                      ~The hospital'

I stuff it in my pocket and unlock the door, I let Mike in first and shut the door behind me. I turn on the lights, the place lighting up, Mike looks around the living room before sitting down on the couch. I go to the back door, and open it, sure enough, they were there. All shut off and standing still, except Molten, who has no legs. I go up to them, checking to see if they had any more damage done to them, only a few dents, but Lefty had it worse.

His head was cracked open, revealing his endo and wires, the endo looked cracked. "That's not good.." I look back at the back door, should I tell him? He wouldn't believe me when I would say, 'Hey, I have living animatronics in my back yard, want to see?' I sigh, how am I going to get them inside anyways? I get an idea when I look at the garage, seeing that it can open for a car to go in."Since my car is still at work, it will be enough room for them to go in." I say to myself.

"Go in what?" I jump and look at Salvage Springtrap, the one behind the speaking. "You scared me!" I say trying to calm my heart down. "Sorry!" He says looking down. "It's okay, you four are going to the garage, so if it rains you don't get damaged." He looks at me again and nods, but then has a concerned look. "What happened to your eye?" I explain what happened earlier and he nods. "Thats why people took us, we got worried when we didn't see you around, Baby told us it would've been best for us to shut off until you came."

"Can you wake them up?" I ask, he nods and shakes Baby and Molten, Molten almost hits him, until he notices it Springtrap. "Lefty won't wake up, not with that damage." Springtrap says pointing at him, I nod telling him I'll fix him. "So, where are we?" Baby asks looking at the house. "My house, we'll have to wait until we fix Lefty before going on the road trip again."
