Chapter 16- A new beginning

Alyssa's P.O.V.

It was morning and I woke up being cold. The blanket I had wasn't even warm. If I die of being cold, I'll come back as a ghost to haunt them and make them regret this.

The door opened and Liset came to my view with a tray in her hands. I'm glad I meet her because who knows, I could have gotten lost in the house forever or even get caught and get punished.

"Good morning sleepy head. I came to bring you your breakfast" She placed the tray on the small table that was besides my bed.

"Thanks. I'm starving like uh...."

"Vampire who is thirsty for blood?" She finished my sentence and we both laughed.

"So, Jake and the guys were your owners. We're they good to you?" I gave a nod while chewing a piece of pancake with maple syrup. Now that's heaven.

"That's good. Do you miss home?" I looked up to her and I tried to find words to answer her question, but I couldn't. I do miss home , but I kind of like it here...I mean, sure I got kidnapped, but I kind of liked it. Not the living here part only the living with the guys part. A lot of things happened that made my life interesting.

I opened my mouth to say something, but I closed it when someone pushed the door wide open. Liset and I looked who it was. Jordan. If your wondering who Jordan is, its Jake's brother. I found out his name.

"Liset, leave" He said harshly. Liset gave me a 'Everything will be okay' look. She shut the door behind her and it was just me and Jordan.

"Okay so I have some rules for you." He started. "Rule number one. I get to bite you whenever I want. Rule number two. You will obey me. Rule number three you will not swear at me. Oh and also, your only allowed to go to the kitchen and here. Nowhere else got it?"

I nodded and he smiled. He had dimples like Jake, but he wasn't as cute as him.

Please, Jake will probably end up liking Ashley. After all, she is prettier

My mind told me which made my heart ache. What if he does fall in love with her? No it can't be possible. He can't love someone who isn't his mate so I should stop with these stupid jealousy thoughts.

My stomach started to ache really bad. I tried massaging it so the pain wouldn't be so bad , but it is. Jordan noticed and looked at me with sympathy.

"Are you okay, Alyssa?" I shook my head. He got up from my bed and left the room. Moments later he came back with a glass of water and a little white pill.

"Here, this will make you feel batter" I looked at the pill on his palm not being sure to swallow it or not. It might be some sort of thing that can kill me.

"No thanks. I'm fine" I tried to fake a smile and act normal, but it failed when bigger pain came to my stomach making me groan in pain. I closed my eyes shut. I don't know why , but every time something hurts I close my eyes. Its just a habit.

"You don't trust me do you?" Obviously I don't cookie head. He took me away from Jake and tried to bite me. If you ask me, this dude should be working at Walmart so he can earn some money to get a stinking life because he's ruining mine.

"No, I don't" I spat at him and got up from the bed. Stupid jerk thinks he can control me, well he's horribly wrong.

He pulled my arm making me stop my tracks and turning to look at him. He smirked and quickly got up from the bed and kissed my lips.
