Chapter Six:
Karah and I were sitting in my room listening to the rain patter against the window. I was crying. I felt like such an idiot for falling for someone like Tucker. It's just like any relationship I've been in or crush I've had. It's all the same I fall for these idiot guys thinking they're so wonderful like they're Prince Charming. But then they all turn out to be the same.
Karah was hugging me while I was crying. She's such a good friend. She's literally the best. My mom was out shopping for groceries so she had just dropped us off and then left. Karah and I had heard the doorbell ring. It must have been my mom. I was too depressed and heartbroken to answer it so Karah got up and answer the door for me. She left me upstairs to wallow in my tears, and ran down the stairs. She opened the door, and didn't say anything.
"Karah who's at the door"? I yelled from my room. She didn't say anything so I wiped my tears, and got up. I ran down the stairs to the door. Karah just stood in front of the doorway with her eyes wide opened, and her jaw dropping.
"What are you doing here"? I said.
"I just wanna talk to you". Tucker said with the rain soaking him.
"Well I don't wanna talk to you". I said.
"Please just give me five minutes me explain. Just listen to what I have to say, and if you don't like it then I'll leave". He pleaded.
"Fine five minutes". I said
"I honestly didn't know that you liked me. I didn't flirt with Tara intentionally just to make you mad. I didn't even know you liked me before today, but I had a feeling". He said.
"Are you done? I said as a started closing the door.
"Your not like any other girl I've ever met before 24, and I hate the fact that you're mad at me because of an idiotic thing I did. I like you 24. I like you a lot that it pains me to tell you much how I like you.
My eyes lit up when he said that.
I love the way you get jealous. I love how you don't care what anyone thinks. I love how whenever I smile at you you smile at me. I love how you look at me with those beautiful brown eyes".
He finished and I smiled at him. I walk towards him standing in front of him. Rain was still pouring down on him. He lifted his hand and wiped my tears. He leaned in, and placed his hand in my cheek. He then got closer and closer to my face. I leaned in and then first our noses touched. Then our lips touched. We kissed I got my first kiss in the rain, and it was magical. The rain was pouring down on us, but honestly didn't even care.
We stopped kissing and smiled at each other. Before we looked up the rain had gotten must heavier, and I really didn't need to be sick. I invited Tucker inside.
"Take off your sweatshirt". I said.
"Why". He asked.
"So I can give you a new one, and that one can dry". I said.
He took off his sweatshirt revealing his tank top,and this six pack. He handed his sweatshirt to me,and I pulled him into the living room. He sat on the couch, and I handed him the remote.
"Keep yourself occupied". I said.
I left the living room, and went up the stairs looking through my dad's stuff for a sweatshirt.
"So I guess you guys are good? Since you know he's in the living room". Karah said.
"Uh yeah were good". I replied.
"Did you guys kiss"? She asked.
I didn't say anything I just smiled.
She screamed. "OMG you guys kissed! How was it was it good? Were his lips soft"? She asked all sorts of questions.
