"6, 4, 2, 0. Happy birthday to me". I said. It finally had been 12:00 am aka the next day aka my 19th birthday. I was finally 19th. The big 1-9 in one more year I'd be 20 wow was I getting old. I went to bed at 12:00 to wake up to the voice of my best friends Katrina and Karah. Karah literally jumped on my bed on top of me while I was sleeping.
"Wake up, wake up. It's your birthday". Karah said.
"What time is it"? I asked.
"2:00". Karah said.
♪Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday dear Rocky. Happy Birthday to you♪ Katrina said walking in with a cupcake and a candle stuck inside.
I blew out the candle.
"Yay". They said clapping.
I hugged them.
"Thank you so much guys. You guys are the best". I said.
"Yeah but your morning breathe is not". Karah said.
"I love you too". I said getting up to go brush my teeth. I brushed my teeth and washed my face in the bathroom, I came back into my room to see my friends sitting on my bed.
"So what do you have planned for today"? Karah said.
"I don't know nothing I guess". I replied.
"Well lucky for you. We do". Katrina said.
"Oh God should I be worried"? I asked.
"Defiantly". They said.
We all laughed.
My phone started buzzing.
"Ooh I wonder who it could be". Karah said reaching to grab it then sitting back down on the bed.
"Just what I thought it's Tucker. Your boyfrand". Katrina said looking at the screen.
"He's not my boyfriend. He's just my friend". I said grabbing the phone from Karah.
"Oh please you know you wanna date him". Katrina said.
"Hello". I said answering and putting the phone.
♪Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday dear 24. Happy Birthday to you♪. Tucker said on the other line.
I laughed. So did Katrina and Karah trying not to die in my room.
"Yeah, I know my singing skills are not as nearly as awesome as yours, but they're getting there". He said.
"You're fine". I said.
"And so are you". He said.
"Friends". I said blushing.
"Oh right, hey friend happy birthday". He said.
"Thank you, friend". I said.
"So what are your plans for today"? He asked.
"Um I don't know Karah and Katrina know all the details, and I know nothing". I said.
"Hi, Karah and Katrina". He said acknowledging them.
"Hi, Tucker". They said.
"Oh god you guys are embarrassing". I said leaving the room.
"So I guess we're just doing this as friends"? Tucker said.
"Something like that". I said.
"Wow so I can't even kiss you when I see you"? He asked.
