Chapter Seven:
I heard the birds tweeting, and the sun shining through my window on a sunny Sunday morning. I felt covers being on me though I don't remember putting them on. I opened my eyes, and lifted my head up. I saw a note with my name on it from Tucker it read. "Sorry I couldn't be there to see you wake up! But I had some early morning stuff to do! I'll see you later -Tucker". He's seriously the cutest thing ever! I looked up my bed, brushed my teeth, and went downstairs. I smelled bacon cooking.
"Mom"? I said.
"Yeah honey". She replied.
"When did Tucker leave"? I asked her.
"Oh about an two hours ago. Did he sleep here last night"? She asked.
"Uh yeah in my room, but nothing happened I just slept in his arms". I replied.
"He seems like a nice boy". She said.
"Yeah he is". I said smiling.
"Maybe you should invite him over for dinner sometime". She said.
"Yeah right mom. What time did you get in last night"? I asked her.
"About 10-11 ish. I had to go back to the hospital. I had just came home for lunch. By the way your father gets back today. I have to pick him up at the airport soon". She said.
It had been almost two weeks since my dad left for his business trip. I couldn't wait to see him. I ate breakfast, took a shower, and then walked over to Karah's house I had so much to tell her.
"So how was Tucker's lips"? She asked me.
"Soft and captivating". I said.
"What? Soft and captivating". She said.
"Yes they're like super soft, and totally workable". I said.
"Oh I know. I could tell you were working his lips, but the way you were on them". She said.
"You know whatever okay". I said
"I'm just glad you're happy. You haven't been happy since Aaron. So I'm really glad you found someone who can show you happiness". She said.
"Awe Karbear thank you! No all we need is to do find you a guy". I said.
"Ha no! I'm strictly prohibiting guys from coming into my life". She said.
"Karah not every guy out there is like Andi Clemmens. Andi is just an idiotic, worthless jerk that didn't deserve you". I said.
"You know what I'm gonna do? I'm gonna find you a guy". I said.
"You are"? She said.
"Yes I am". I said. "Now stop feeling sorry for yourself". I said.
I pulled her off the bed, and said.
"Were going to the mall to find you a guy". I said. "Now get up". I said.
She got up off the bed, and fixed her hair. We headed for the car. Karah's mom drove us to the mall, and dropped us off at the front entrance of the mall. We got out of the car, and went inside of the mall. We started scoping out cute guys.
"Okay Karah what type of guys do you want"? I asked.
"Well defiantly not guys like Aaron or Andi". She said looking at me.
"Well what about him"? I said pointing to a short guy with his pants on his butt.
"No. He's looks to wannabe". She said and we both laugh.
