Noah's P.O.V

Placing my glass back down on the table, I continued to laugh at James' joke about the girls Katy used to dance with and how they didn't dance anymore, not since their pregnancies. I'd missed James' carefree attitude these last few weeks, he could be such a laugh sometimes, even more so when he'd had four of the free fruit ciders.

"Oh my life," Katy squealed as the start of Bryan Adams' Summer of '69 blasted out of the speakers. "It's my song! James come dance with me!!" Then she was pulling him away, blowing me a kiss as she went.

"Bless her." Mia said, moving to sit next to me so she could watch Katy twirl about the dance floor with her brother. "It's nice to see her so carefree for once. Especially when she's been so stressed out over the Wedding. God help you both when it's your turn, I'm quite scared to be her maid of honour if I'm honest."

I let out yet another laugh as I nodded my head in agreement. "I'll pray for you."

"Someone needs too!!" She exclaimed seriously, only causing me to laugh more at the expression of horror on her face. "Anyway, how's things going between you two?"

"I genuinely don't think we've ever been better. Since we went on that trip to your Cottage up in Scotland, we haven't argued, got overly stressed or anything like that. Everything's been good, I mean the sex has never been better." I smirked as she pulled a face at the unnecessary detail, I loved winding her up like this, Mia was just like one of the guys, she knew how to take a joke better than anyone but could be deadly serious in the next instant, if that was necessary. "What about with you two?" I quizzed, gesturing at Sea who was leant against the bar talking to Brooke and Jack who both had an arm locked around the other's waist.

She looked over at Seb, eyes clearly filled with love and admiration. Mia had never been one to hide how she felt about someone, sometimes that was good and sometimes not so much, but it warmed my heart to see two of our friends so happy together.

"He proposed last night." She stated calmly.

"He what?!"

"He proposed." She confirmed.

"As in -"

"As in we'll be getting married..."

"Seriously?"

"No, I'm joking - of course, I'm serious, Jesus Christ."

I pulled her into a swift hug, congratulating her quietly. "Wait, I'm confused. Where's the ring?" I asked, noticing that her ring finger was bare.

"I said I'd wear it after today. Today was Brooke's day. It wouldn't have been fair to tell everyone our news...Besides, we've all waited this long, another twenty-four hours can't hurt, can they?"

I turned my attention back to Katy who was now talking to another guy, a guy I hadn't seen before. James was still with them so I wasn't too bothered about them talking, if anything inappropriate was said James would be all too quick to tell me, he was determined to protect his Sister and I was proud to say that he'd turn to me when he thought someone needed to get involved in the situation.

"I'm happy for you, Monghole."

"Thanks, Snowflake."

"You know she's going to go insane when you tell her? She's been begging him to pop the question for ages..."

"Oh I know," She shook her head, clearly not ready to tell her best friend. As soon as Katy found out she'd go straight into planning mode. "I just hope that - oh shit!!"

"What's up?" I quizzed, sitting forward on the bench, ready to jump to my feet.

I followed Mia's line of sight until I saw what was going on. The guy Katy had been speaking to was now performing all kinds of lifts with her, attracting a large audience that had started to gather around the canopy.
