✘Calum
I hated doing this. I hated not being able to touch her, to barely talk to her, it sucked.
All because of Micheals dumbass assuming shit which is actually true but, Diana's right. We shouldn't be doing this it's wrong, but she's so...damn.
"Calum you're staring again." Luke nudged me.
"Yeah are you sure y'all didn't do something? I know you didn't sleep last night." Micheal wiggles his eyebrows.
I threw my apple at his face, "Hell no she's not even all that." That was a lie.
Micheal shrugged, "Whatever you say."
Luke turned and looked her up and down, "Not even all that? She's fine. I'd hit that."
What the hell? Anger started to boil up inside of me. He shouldn't talk about her like that.
"Shut up Luke, that's disrespectful." They all laughed.
"When did you care about being disrespectful?" Micheal asked. I rolled my eyes, I didn't have time to argue.
After lunch, we had courtyard time. Where you either played basketball, lifted weights, or suffer in the hot sun.
I usually lift weights the only time I play basketball is if someone challenges me.
There's a dude who's part of the Jackrats, which is another gang. His name is Jack he's the leader obviously and he's irritating.
While lifting he walked up to me, looking very cocky might I add.
"Hey Calum." I looked up but continued to lift.
"What do you want Jack?" I asked annoyed.
"I challenge you to a one on one game of basketball." I smirked.
"Of course you do. Sure, expect to lose."
I was confident walking over to the court. When people play basketball it's like this big event. Prisoners gather around and will sometimes place bets on who they think will win. People shout like we're in a boxing match, it's somewhat intimidating.
I don't mind a good game of basketball but Jack loves to make it hell for me. He likes to talk and get in my head like he's about to now.
I dribble the ball and cross him scoring a few points. The scores 10 to 6 when he starts running his mouth.
"I saw you staring at officer Jones." I was shocked at what he said but continued to dribble the ball.
"I would hit that wouldn't you?" I growled.
"Shut up Jack."
"Yeah I bet her bodies a wonderland. I'd explore every curve." He laughed licking his lips.
"She'd scream my name." That's when I snapped. Instead of throwing the ball at the hoop, I threw it at his face.
He didn't fall he just flinched hard. He smirked knowing he got a reaction out of me and put his fists up.
"Come on. Do something. I bet Ms.Jones would love riding me." I punched him and blood started to drip from his nose.
He punched me in my stomach causing me to double over.
"Is that all you got Hood? Try harder."
I growled and ran towards him tackling him to the ground. I got in a few good punches until he blocked them and hit me.
I was getting my ass whopped until I heard an electric shock and Jack fell off of me, shaking.
Diana stood there with taser in her hand. She told her colleague to grab Jack and she grabbed me by my arm. She drug me to my cell and sat me down on the bed.
